Even though we are going to lose this match, atleast we might have finally found a reliable Test pacer other than Mash. I can see Robin and Mash being our test pace duo for a while. (Still Mash-Rasel for ODIs)

More our batters face bowlers like Dale better would be their education. Hopefully, it will force them to tighten up their technique. They can get away with their technique in those docile pitches of ours back home. But it will never help them to become top class batsmen.

It started to drizzle again. Covers are on. So, no play immediately. This should make BD-Shardul happy.

There is plenty of water on the ground. No chance of play today

That is good for us .. can watch the match on weekend .... but another 15/20 over could do the trick.

Dont see any chance of that. Ground is almost water logged. Also it rained last night according to Sky commentators.

Also I want the 4th day to be washed out. Then on fifth day, I want bright sun shine to see if we can manage a draw with the remaining seven wickets, with Gadha leading the batsmen.

When it rains and play stops now and often, it becomes harder for batsmen to keep their concentration. But bowlers' task become easier because they find batters unsettled and also get more swing from the pitch. So, I want a fresh start, preferably from a bright morning and a play without any interruption.

3.00pm Still not great news on the weather, South Africa will be frustrated that they are being made to wait. The ground drains quite well, but first the rain has to stop.
Seems, rain has not stopped yet

3.15pm I'm afraid we have news, and the news is not good. It's been called off for the day - unsurprisingly so - and play will resume tomorrow at 10.00am (8.00am GMT). Weather permitting, of course. Do join us then.
Nature mother helps us to take the test to the fourth day.

The weather forecast looks very bad for tomorrow. I mean, it will be quite sunny and no thunderstorm. Sad that we can not take it to the 5th day.
