Was a quality match to watch. Madrid didn't capitalise on their early chances. Khedira had a shocker of a shot first up from a good position in the box and left back Coentrao should have scored but a the finger tips from De Gea was all that was needed to save the goal. Welbeck was able to score a nice goal off a cross during Madrid's early dominance. Madrid bounced back with a nice header from CR7.
ManU didn't take advantage of their opportunities in the latter stages of the game. A good contest in the end. But i think De Gea's finger tip's save was what saved ManU from losing. But then again RVP had a good chance to win it for ManU.

What are you on about,
these two are similar?
it was yellow not a red, even madrid players knew it, arbelloa even said it was accidental by nani - no malicious intent. Nani was attempting to control the ball, a genuine 50/50 chance of winning the ball, de jong had his eyes on alonso, fully intentional, it was a reckless challenge, nani's one wasn't even a challenge

That Nani red card was 50/50 in my books. I was pleased to see the instant impact from Modric. He sparked Real Madrid into the contest with that boot of his.
