England overall played better cricket. India did have some good patches but wasn’t consistent.

They were competitive in the first half. They fell apart in the second half in 4 of the 5 games.

India bowling has been great since SA series.
Their batsmen apart from VK and Puj need to score runs.more consistently, then they will win more tests abroad.

I also think the Indian bowlers were very good in this series especially in the first innings of this Test match. Their fielding was top notch.

But playing against England in home conditions for Indian sub continent teams is quite difficult
