Surprise surprise and our very own Rubel leads the list with the worst ever average in the history of test cricket. There hasn't been a worse bowler than him with an average of 71 per wicket and a scaring economy rate bordering 4 per over and a SR of 108. The second place has been graced by our very own Razzak with an average of 69 per wicket and a SR of 124. I understand the dillema with Rubel but why pressure Razzak who is an outstanding ODI bowler but terrible test player into such hardship.

Al Amin looks like a good prospect. we need more fast bowlers who can bowl line and length. If he puts enough work he might be able to bowl those just short of the length snorters that trouble batsmen. Its great to see Bangladesh using the expertise of Saqlain Mushtaque to help our spinners. But we urgently need someone like Wasim, Waqar, Vaas, Walsh to work with our pace bowlers....if possible from Academy cricket/Under 19 cricket level in addition to a few designated pitches that will assist pace/swing bowling for the first class tournaments

Only guys that could rival the stats of Rubel are Abul Hossain and Shahadat. Abul looks destined to rival Bradman in terms of bowling average.

Wait till they are out of injury

Our U-19 team seems to be spin dependent too... so not sure where the future pacers are going to come from

That should be the goal. Don't understand why Nasir said that. It's good to be positive but thinking about winning now is just crazy. First focus on surviving as long as possible. Gotta think about what's ahead of you rather than what could happen tomorrow.

with close to 90 overs remaining today... if we can bat the entire day we should be able to score 200-220. Who among the batsman will be willing to play proper test cricket is the big question. I hope at least Marshall Ayub tries.
