I should have posted in this thread much earlier, because now I do not remember how i landed here.
Most probably it is not Google. None of my friends was also here before me. I was a regular in some bangla gaan, kobita, natok forum (amar sonar bangla dot com?) and I guess, someone there mentioned this cricket-related forum. I used to avoid serious discussions and it was just time pass and fun for most part of it.

I think BC needs to be advertised on here in Bangladesh. Easily we can have 50k members. 11k is not many for a 16c populated country.

ya,this is very important,we want more members.
I don't remember exactly how I found it & why I registered,I found it myself while browsing.

The holy spirit of my great grand father (Boro abba) directed me to BC in a very spiritual dream one night 4 years ago. He just pointed his finger to the web browser, didn't speak much, just said, "Odikey Jaa!"

The one, the only ...drum roll plz!!!... GOOGLE. During the WC'11, I wanted to learn about Bangladesh cricket, so I googled some BD players and here I am . I have learned (and still learning) a great deal of BD cricket and cricket in general from BC. So, thank you Bangla Cricket. I would also like to thank everyone who worked (continue to work) tirelessly behind the scenes and made BC possible/successful. We you BC! May God Bless you and your family. Thank you and May Allah reward you (Jazak Allahu Khair)

I first became aware of this forum when it was mentioned in comments in a Cricinfo article on the 'Flowers' tribute after the unfortunate Windies bus incident, and I dropped in to see what the grass roots feelings were regarding it. The short ODI series with my Aussies post WC had me dropping in regularly and before you know it I had caught the BD cricket bug and you guys are now my second team. There's a refreshing innocence (I mean that in the nicest possible way) and enthusiasm about BD cricket that some of the more 'world weary' teams, including OZ have lost, and being somewhat of a cricketing romantic I find that very appealing. Besides, it's part of our culture to support the underdog (no offence intended) and I'm keen to see you guys succeed. Cheers!

A friend informed me abt BC a while back. So silently hung around for some time before registering very recently. Its great to see many passionate and knowledgeable BD cricket fans under the umbrella of one single forum. Shame that dint find this one out long before. (perhaps never expected a site of this caliber from tigers). Wish to see this forum grow in multiple folds in coming years whilst personally gelling well with rest of the community and enjoy by sharing thoughts on BD cricket with fellow supporters.

^^^ You know, you can't use any electronic device that transmits electromagnetic waves on planes when they are flying! So, I can't comprehend your words...:/
