He didn't get much of a chance...only when the team was done and dusted he played one game. But yes, who wants an injury-prone player who has no track record of doing well in T20. (IPL is stupid for only allowing 4 players..should be 5. Most Indian local players suck in terms of quality. They are only there to make the numbers.)

KKR got a good team this year. They don't need Mashrafe. He is a crappy T20 bowler.

They needed to trim the squad to make room for some additional players. So they left mashrafe

agree, they should have atleast 6 foreign players. most indian players are suck.

if u notice all top ten bowlers or batsmen-u will see atleast top 6 or 7 are foreigners. out of 4X8====32 players (who compete with other 64 foreign players to get in main XI)

on the otherside, indian players are 7X8===56 and they dont have much competition to get into main XI

32 players occupy majority of top ten and top 20

while 64 players still struggle and india still dont find perfect combination, so that they have to take IPL non regular wridhdhiman saha in their main XI.

my curiosity why all the boards are so much eager to give away their international schedule due to IPL, what is their benefits?

its actually indian domestic league with some guest players.

any given day i will chooose international any match over IPL
i think international T20 is thousand times better than IPL

funny is all three top players are from KKR and still KKR sucks. they also have chris gayle. and now shane bond.

all they need is some decent Indian players, becz 7 will play in the main game and its hard for them to find 7 locals, hope this year they will have some good domestic players.

Injury prone, out of quality cricket and one of the worst death over bowlers/chokers of all time, this comes as no surprise.

Because if they didnt, the players would have played IPL anyway. The money on offer is just too good.

I don't see the point of hijacking the world cricket itenary and then having so many crappy Indian players playing in this league that is supposed to be revolutionary. The quality is not always good due to this very fact, and this will soon start turning the overseas crowd away. It doesn't make business sense either. And the trophy and the names seem to be the product of infants' thinking, or someone creatively dumb like, say, Lalit Modi. If he wants to create world chaos,at least give us something back. What's with insulting (pakistan) and bullying (england)!!!

actually players cant sign IPL without boards permission.
plus if they have fear of ban by their own board, no one will join IPL, unless they are near retire age like hayden, mcgrath or shane warne.

honestly, i think mitchell johnson and michael clarke showed some guts and patriotism by neglecting crappy IPL and prefering their own country, thats called patriotism

IPL authority dont know abt our players or our board didnt represent them nicely. otherwise, players like alok kapali, sakib al hasan, mohammad rafiq could have been asset for any team and can bring some glory for BD and next time they wud like more players.

ash-- super inconsistent in any form
mash--super injury prone

The IPL is a farce, it is nothing but c commercialism, and yeah, f!!k the indians anyway, i keep saying that coz of their smug attitude.
