Default The positive sides from the T20

I think we can score big runs in T20. Scoring 190 without 2 of our best t20 players is still a great achievement.

We could have done better though. Our bowling looked a buy blunt well no worries.

Can we qualify for the world T20? I think we can

Good show today with the bat. Big targets doesn't mean slogging every ball though. Losing three early wickets and still scoring 189 is a plus.

Positive is that everyone knew we would lose and we did. No disappointment...

We need to think about few players like Zia, Mominul. Even Razzaq is not helping. If Shakib is around its time to drop him.

Al amin was impressive in the death overs . Hopefully we will have fit Shakib , Tamin in the T20 WC. Mash is very ordinary in this format . Hopefully Taskin will live up to his potential of the glimpse he had shown in the BPL .

No Mash or Razzak for the T20. They have not bowled well in death. T20 is all about death overs.

Loved this team's never-say-die attitude, scoring 189 from 19/3 without the two best players is an achievement in itself. A better effort in the bowling and tight fielding then we'll also start to see positive results in this format.

Yes it was a great recovery from 19/3 but we should also ask why were we 19/3? Did any of us have any doubt that Zia is not an opening prospect despite his (hit and miss) contribution in the odi? Why is mominul right for number 3 in t-20? Is it because he scored centuries in test cricket and therefore gets a free pass at t20?

We kept up with the run rate the majority of the game but couldnt make the last hurdle due to the lack of wickets. Now imagine if we had not lost those wickets in the first over then the accelaration Naeem and Mushy gave us bringing the required rate to 9 would have been fruitful with wickets in hand at the death.

I really did not understand the reason to play momin at all.

He obviously doesn't have the muscle to hit big, add to that not comfortable when he is forced to score big.

Zia for opener is a poor plot. Its understandable that he came in as a pinch hitter but 3rd class.pinch hitters don't win you games, guys like Mahela, ABCD. Hope team.management learns.

But to be fair we are not established in this format hence we don't see selectio. based on format.

I knew it would very hard to win without Tamim and Shakib in T20s. We got away with it in ODIs because we're far more comfortable in that format then T20Is. Tamim and Shakib might not have great stats in T20Is but they have the most experience, most skilled and explosive batsmen we have.

Still we did pretty well to get to 189. In the end, I'd blame the bowlers, particularly Mash and Razzak our 2 most experienced bowlers.
