Zim A is doing better in the second innings. They still trail by 161 runs. BD A should restrict them within 200-250.

before we disparage ZIM, lets remember that though tapash may be an A teamer now (and even if that is his real calibre), he was on our national side for a long time. heck, he was our pace spear-head for a couple of years.

and enam is our national teamer. of course same can be said of ZIM A, but still...

i really want to see ZIM do well, ICC really needs as many strong teams as possible.

The latest score on the homepage is given like this:

BD-A: 393/10 - 90 overs
Zim-A: 116/2
Lunch, Day -2 of 4

which is not clear that it is Zim A's 2nd innings. It should look like:

BD-A: 393/10
Zim-A: 116 ao and 116/2 at stumps Day 2

It is really strange that for last two days DS is not publishing any report on BD A Team against Zim A. They are totally absorbed in FIFA WC.

ok back to the topic...Frost bhai amar moner kotha bolse. tushar imran always plays well in the A team, but when it comes in the national team, he is a fata ballon. kinda worthless. but hey, i disagree tht nafis iqbal is a really good combo with nafees. i think javed omar is our best opening batsman till now. he has more consistancy than any other batsman does. mm.. but santo r bodole Mohammad Sarif ke khelano uchit chilo. ba tareq aziz..
apnader deya shashosh e amar lekhar prerona:p .i am backing iqbal because jo is probably reaching the end of his career.although,he says he is 28,i think he is well above 30.so now it is a good opportunity for iqbal to step up to the plate.otherwise, someone from the under 19 side will take jo's place and we will have countless discussions on iqbal like we have on rokon, ehsan and other has beens.then oneday, some "obhaga" will write something in bangla in one of those threads, and nannu bhai will beat the crap out of him.so for everyone's sake, back iqbal up.pore boilen na j keu amake age shabdhan kore nai.

thank you, thank you.amar mone eibar nannu bhai re khema deya jay.onek pochano hoise.may be it took him multiple efforts to pass hsc.that is why he probably considers it as the milestone of someone's academic career.shesh baber moto khocha dilam.allah'r kosom.
now lets get back to cricket.i agree that iqbal's dismissals were unacceptable in the sl series.but he seems more fluent than jo.but he definitely needs to work on this temperment.no question about that.i was disappointed with jo because he did poorly in the home series where the pitch was ideal for his batting style.he is famous for his patience.but he also got out playing irresponsibly in both series.on top of that,he is extremely weak against in swing deliveries which openers get in plenty from the pacers.iqbal is not the ideal opener either.but to me,he seems more comfortable against quality bowling.i hope both of them play well and fight for the opening spot. if both play well, may be one can play down the order.we need stable batsmen in the side.i dont care who that it.

well i think in tht case, Rajin should be opening with JO. and nafis iqbal can go in Rajin's spot. but what do u think about S.Nafees?! in the srilankan series, he got out in the same style.. which was simply pathetic, and against AUS, though he played really well in the test, he did suck in the ODI. and according to so many ppl the reason why he played so bad is tht, AUS bowlers got acknowledged about his weakness..

May be, unfair for the Zim side; like our Mahbub, they also have low confidence.

Why there are no updates today from TigerCricket.com? May be TigerCricket staffs are watching the recorded FIFA WC match between Brazil and Australia again and again and forgot to update the scorecard

Nothing new anywhere! May be raining. Here is yesterdays report.
Zim A struggle
From Blessing Maulgue in MUTARE
ZIMBABWE A were bowled out for a paltry 116 runs in their first innings resulting them following on as the touring Bangladesh A dominated the second day of this four-day match.
The second day of play brought no reprieve for the struggling hosts who failed to contain the pace of veteran bowler, Taposh Baishya, and the left-arm orthodox spin of Enamul Haque.
Baishya dismissed Zimbabwe’s top three batsmen Bernard Mlambo, skipper Hamilton Masakadza and Kudzai Taibu for ducks before Stuart Matsikenyeri, brought some sanity into the host team’s batting.
Matsikenyeri was settling down well with a few shots to the boundary but was unlucky to be given out leg before wicket on 15.
Tinashe Hove was the only batsman who showed signs of resistance to the bowling onslaught of the visitors holding on before he was cleaned bowled by spin sensation, Haque, on 23.
The damage had already been done when, Tafadzwa Mufambisi, came in at number five top-scored for the hosts with his 32.
Haque mopped up the tail enders to take complete a five wicket haul for 34 runs.
However Zimbabwe's batting showed a marked improvement when they came out for their second innings and young Hove continued from were he had left off scoring gritty 53 off 86 deliveries before he was caught on second slip off Said Al Hassans bowling.
Zimbabwe had reached 116-2 by close of play with Masakadza on 42 and Taibu on three leaving them with a 171 run deficit.
The hosts now need to bat throughout today and post a reasonable total to force Bangladesh to bat again.

ok guys wait.. now the million dollar question is: whether to pick russel or shahadat
.. also, shall we consider tushar imran or alok kapali? btw, i think javed omor should open for BD no matter wht.

Update from DS:

Sports

Enamul takes BD A closer to win
Sports Reporter

Bangladesh A require a further 78 runs to win after another brilliant spell of bowling from Enamul Haque in the third day of the first four-day match against Zimbabwe A at the Mutare Sports Club ground yesterday.

The second-string side ended the day on 34 for one after they dismissed the hosts for 388 in the second innings.
Test cap Stuart Matsikenyeri struck a patient 127 while Musamisi missed his well-deserved ton, falling at 97.

Left-arm spinner Enamul took four for 78, while fellow left-armer Sakib-al-Hassan and seamer Tapash Baisya took two wickets apiece.

The wily spinner from Sylhet took 5 for 34, and now has a match-haul of 9 wickets for 112.
Zimbabwe second-string set a target of 112 runs a little more than a day to spare and Bangladesh played out the final ten overs losing a single wicket.

"leaved" bd???? I thought you were trashing someone else earlier for lack of foreign language expertise ... and now you say you "leaved" BD ...?

And it's not lucky you ... it's lucky Bangladesh ... you left as soon as you could.
