Default Shakib the Oracle, Naeem the Tiger.

Shakib the Oracle, Naeem the Tiger.

After the the devastating lost in the first match. Shakib said Bangladesh WILL win the series by 4-1

Quote:
"This is a nice wake-up call. I definitely feel that 4-1 is possible from here if we don't repeat the errors in this game. We are a better team than they are."

Does this mean Shakib is our Oracle and Naeem the up-and-coming minnow basher? Discuss.

You deserve to be slapped for that comment

Naeem Average vs Top 8 is a whopping 39.00.

Vs Zimbabwe: 24.33

More like a giant basher is anything*

*Truth is, just a good finisher, with lots of not outs

We can still win this 4-1 - Shakib
Where did you find that capital & bold WILL?

You don't have to lower someone for pulling someone up. Neither resort to made up 'words' to lift anyone. They are both graceful cricketers with their performance & merit.

We need to start figuring out the positions of our bits-and-pieces players. Either use them or don't, but don't make them do what they don't. I've been banging my head on the wall, the floor and the ceiling saying this. I think I may be starting to get a headache just about now.

I said this months ago. Naeem deserves to be a middle order batsman.

Absolutely outrageous. Naeem is not only the minow basher, he will be the elder brother basher soon.

He won't bash anyone until the team defines a role for him. That entails dropping non-performers to make way for the good guys.

its nothing new.. nayeem did good.. so for now he is the tiger.. when he will fail next match, he will become just another stupid player who needs to be kicked out, like he was before today.. check out posts from the other threads, he is on top of lists to get kicked out for everyone..

sad, really sad by the fans..

Just few days before maximum of us were asking Naeem to go out of the team. One innings has made him Tiger. Good.

Thats how it is in any type of sport. Its not what have you done for me in the past but rather what have you done for me lately...

no its not the case for every sport. it may be the case for new players that are just trying to cement their place in the team, but as they move down the line in their career eventually their record speaks for itself.

he replied so i dont think i need to say anything..

in the long term, players are judged by their performance in the last few seasons.. not last few games..
