Default The dream team of lanka...lot to learn from them

It's the team effort...combition of the "individual improvements" and "acheivements" that led Sri lanka to such a win...salute to the lankans still reminds me about the match with Australia in 92 world cup and those glorious days of lankan team...Still they are full with spirit, eagerness, and confidence. Vass, Murali, Chandana, even the new comers each contributed and took wickets...fielders were amazing...and openning batsmen were responsible...I am not telling we have to be like lanka...but what they have that we don't have?? Do they have magic that was given by Whatmore...ain't we getting the same magic tricks now...but why we are here in this position. I am not expecting them to win in 10 wkts...just wana see my team fight like lankans with spirit and good team effort...

Well............

For one thing, you would do well to get rid of this self pity.

Bangladesh are learning to play cricket at the highest level the hard way. There is nothing more to it than the defeats. Your time will come soon.

I don't think after the Australians, there is not much of a difference between the next five or six teams. Teams and the players look happy and eager when they win

BangladeshCricket: We are getting there bro... Whatmore cant change the whole team around just like that... Players need some time to adjust to the magic whatmore is doing... Without assistants no magic trick works and the players are Dav's Assistants... As soon as these players come to Dav's expectations things will be much better... And the players are trying... things are not really that bad... We can only get better... and I assure u we wont get worse than what we are... cause its just not possible...

We lack team effort.

When somebody bats well on a particular day, others don't play for him, when somebody bowls well, others don't contribute to his good bowling.

Everyone should play for each other - that's where we're lacking.

The talent of our players is no where near Srilankan players.

have patience. In 15 years, we will have a competitive team like Srilanka.

There is no way to rush development.

Thank you. And for the record, ODIs suck. On any given day good teams have ample opportunity to fumble. England have a track record of low scoring ODI's. It does not tell me anything.

England's lowest ODI totals:

86 v Australia, Old Trafford 2001

88 v Sri Lanka, Dambulla 2003

89 v New Zealand, Wellington 2002

93 v Australia, Headingley 1975

94 v Australia, Melbourne 1979

103 v South Africa, The Oval 1999

107 v Zimbabwe, Cape Town 2000

110 v Australia, Melbourne 1999

111 v South Africa, Johannesburg 2000

114 v West Indies, Bridgetown 1986

World record:

36 Canada v Sri Lanka Paarl 2003

Personally, I see only Murali and maybe Vaas as exceptional in the SL team.
