After relentless effort I managed to score 230/1 with a 147* from Gilchrist (to beat Cats_eyes's 224/4)... and guess WHAT! when I tried to submit the score it wouldn't submit! it says I'm not logged in even though I am! I kept on trying and it wouldn't work!

I think I'm tired and frustrated after all the hardwork, I give up now.. Cats_eye, you can move on.

Thanks, HB. i agree stickcricket is acting like .... I am having same difficulty to post higher numbers. The stickcricket is working like Dilma (SL series). Promises something but can't deliver. I have launched a complaint there.
Anyways, 230+ is pani bhat to me now but Dhurr is still out of my league. It would take another couple of weeks for me to get to that level. স্টিক ক্রিকেট এত মজা "ঝানথাম" না।

Quarter-Final Deadline: May 10, 11:00AM (US Central)
Thunder and Dhurr already moved to the Semi-Final.
We are waiting for the outcome of the following two QF matches:
Thebest vs. Mr-cricket
Hatebreed vs. Cats-eye
Some of you already submitted score.
Some of you had trouble submitting score after scoring career best-- bad luck !!
If you can submit score at all, try clearing your browser chache.
We will close QF Round tomorrow at 11:00AM central.
Submit whatever you can before that time.
If you can't submit score at all-- good luck for the next tournaments!!

I guess during a tournament...they don't show the most recent highest score until the ongoing match is decided. Otherwise people will just see how the other guy has done and then submit score accordingly.
Ofcourse, this does not matter if you play someone like Thunder. When I played him, his "then" highest score was 348. Knowing highest score does not always help

Happened to me too. Keep pressing the try again button and eventually they accept your score.

16 is the max for stick cricket tournaments.
That's how they structured the format.
I hope someone else will take the initiative and there will be more tournaments.
Keep your eye on the forum.

Cats_eye,

Once I post my semi final score you (shauron) will be proud of me. Dhurr get ready!! bring your A game. Anything less may become desaster. 134 to 224 jump!! 224 to 314 jump in the cards???

From 134 to '314' in the space of one week? Thats quite a jump! Is this all you've been doing in the last couple of days? I rekon' your only saying it to scare off Hatebreed! I'm tipping an upset - Hatebreed to ease into the Semi's to face Dhurr (only joking)! Seeing as though thebest has only 2-3 hours to submit a score, I think it's only a matter of time before I get another walkover win (Post a score!! I want a legitimate win dammit!!). Can't say I'm looking forward to facing Thunder though!

My score isn't actually that great, so I rekon you could beat it if you had a crack. I've just about had it up to here with StickCricket though, it wouldn't accept my first 3 scores (all I got was a blank screen and a funny html code), so I gave up for a couple of days and just submitted the first and only score it did accept. And thanks, I'll need plenty of luck to even compete with Thunder. 250 is bread and butter for that guy. Somehow I don't think I rate my chances: I pray for a respectable defeat.

No, they don't do it. I've checked it personally.

Babu Bhai,
How long do we have to post our semi-finals score? If dhurr, hasn't posted his score yet then close the posting time That way I get the walkover. Same goes for thunder in the finals.

Thanks for the support bro. chapabaji, dhapabaji diya eto dur ashlam. shamney brick wall. So need a bull dozer (aka stickcricket "try again" and/or babu bhai closing the posting time, lol). No other option.
Dhurr is too good. averaging 26+ runs. Mine 20+ is pathetic infront his. I stand no chance unless he forgets to submit his scores.

Thats call looking for the positive regardless of what. I had a friend like that, he still uses "BSC Fail" in his informal resume even though he eventually passed his BCOM and ended up as a Businessman.
