Laptops may damage male fertility
Using it on your lap could be risky
Men who use laptop computers could be unwittingly damaging their fertility, experts believe.
Balancing it on the lap increases the temperature of the scrotum which is known to have a negative effect on sperm production, researchers found.
Lead researcher Dr Yefim Sheynkin, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, said: "Laptops can reach internal operating temperatures of over 70°C.
"They are frequently positioned close to the scrotum, and as well as being capable of producing direct local heat, they require the user to sit with his thighs close together to balance the machine, which traps the scrotum between the thighs."

yes, temperatures below the ideal body temperature are in turn ideal for sperm production. however, not to worry. easy solution - balance it on the desk! like me!

People says here in Japan, those who work in IT sector, usually have female child because of positive ion.
Even though my surroundings and me having too many male child within last year, proved people says wrong.
I don't understand how laptop may damage male fertility, while putting the laptop on table, sitting on a chair and working with it.

I wonder what makes the laptops so hot? Can it be the websites that the laptop visits??

what happens if you are in bed with your laptop (now that really didn't sound right) and it's on your comforter/kombol ? since you can't really type if it's on your tummy (the curvature of which is a problem anyway), there's only one place you can put it. what happens then? how long do we have before it all falls off and we die?

Why not?
"Bangladesh Poribar Porikolpona" should give free laptop and "Mountain Dew" instead of free Sharee, Lungi and Sterilization.

I always thought laptops as symbols of productivity. Now I have this unshakable fear that they are symbolically not what they appear to be.

They need to be creative.
You Buy all the used and broken/unfixable laptops as bulk from other countries. Only thing you need is a working battery which will heat up the laptop when you turn it on. This will eventually warm the thing i.e. the target.
