In ODI, I might keep Mushy as wicket-keeper to include an additional all-rounder...

That works too.

My other combination has him as keeper with Saifuddin coming in...

And Nasir moving up the order to facilitate the dropping of Liton

We need to be more dynamic. What I mean by that is by including players such as Liton, Nurul, Hider and Anamul; drop players such as Sarker, Shabbir and Nasir. If I was in charge, this would be my XI: Tamim, Liton, Mushfiqur, Mahmudullah, Shakib, Mosaddek, Anamul, Nurul, Mashrafe, Rubel/Hider and Fizz.

its time we start choosing players based on merit and performance rather than potential and rapport with the coach/selectors. Hopefully guys like Souyma,Taskin,Sabbir are outsed in the near future, unless they start to perform, heck a bit of consistancy would be nice once in a while.
Are you talking about Imrul's ODI performance? Let's draw a comparison:

...............Kayes (Age: 30).......|.......SS (Age: 24)..........
.............Inns....Avg.......S/R....|...Inns.....Avg.......S/R
Career.....70.....28.95....67.93...|....31.....34. 53.....96.60
2017........5......25.00....77.16...|....11.....24 .30.....89.01
vs SL........3......22.66....68.00...|....3......24.3 3....101.38
vs ZIM......12.....26.00....64.59...|....1......20.00 ....111.11
at Dhaka...30....34.03.....69.88...|...12.....45.80.. ..102.46

Merit-wise SS beats him any day. Performance-wise pretty similar, but at least SS doesn't waste balls even he is out early.

I don't deny that SS perhaps needs a break, only replacement I can think of is Anamul Haque Bijoy (based on his recent domestic performance). I don't like to see SS, such a supreme talent for LOI, go in waste. Personally, I would give him a last shot before laying him off to a long break, considering we're playing in home condition against 2 lower-tanked teams in a double RR league tournament.

8. Mash ( couple of sixes and economical bowling and solid captaincy is all i ask)
9. Miraz
10. Fizz
11. Rubel

12th man: Mohammad Saifuddin(swap him for Miraz if we need one less spinner and extra batsmen during slog overs)
revised lineup:

1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Imrul Kayes
3. Mosaddek
4. Mushfiq
5. Shakib
6. Riyad

8. Mash
9. Mehedi

Riyad
Shabbir
Mosaddek/Nasir
Miraz
Mash
Rubel
Fizz
Looks like Sujon is going with the team Jeesh proposed, without Soumya and Mosaddek as options.

I am not a fan of Sabbir Anymore. I know that fans can be obnoxious and annoying(just read many comments in this forum. If your name was Imrul Kayes, how would you feel if someone called you Vimrul Payesh in front of your face all day lol) but hitting a fan is quite irresponsible.

If any of you are a practicing Muslim or claim to be one, do not call each other by derogatory nicknames( from Suratul Hujurat, chapter 49)

I think we should have a new XI every game, switching in one or two new players here and there. I don't care if we win this tri-series, means nothing to me. Focus should be WC and we still don't have a reliable line-up. Here's my XI for the next game:

Tamim
Bijoy
Litton
Mushy
Shakib
Mossadek
Shanto
Mash
Sanju
Rubel
Fizz

I wanna know what are people here smoking. They are picking players outside of 16. Not to mention the winning combination. Only person that could potentially be replaced is Sanjamul with Miraz as SL is full of lefties.

If we change our "Winning" combination, it might be actually a good sign from Sujon-Mash, because that means they are willing to adapt according to situation.

Personally i would bowl Miraz against Lankans. SLA versus Zimbabwe was fine, but they wont have the same impact against SL.

Yeah I'd like to see Miraz in vs SL and for the rest of the series. One SLA plus Fizz and Rubel is enough for ZIM.

Sunzamul's action is so pathetic, only in Bd can he make the team. Other teams have much higher standards for their spinners.

Is Mossadek injured by the way? Why would they not select him in the squad?

His deliveries don't turn. they just bounce and grip. probably one of the flattest spinners going around. I wonder how will he fare against Sri Lanka and India. so far he has only played against teams that are suspect against any form of spin(read: Ireland and Zimbabwe). There is no way he should make a test debut. I would give him one more go against Sri Lanka and see how he does or bring in Miraz for him.

Did anyone remember what chacha did with Dhaka Dynamites.. he made changes in every match in spite of winning. He also said in an interview then that he wants the opponent to guess about the playing IX so that they cannot make any definite plan before the match.

I'd like to see Miraz play instead of Sunzamul because against Lanka we need some batting depth and also a proper office and not Nasir

I cant understand why Nasir is taken into the team. He adds no value what so ever. He even dropped a regulation catch. I would prefer giving chance to potential permanent additions into the team than Nasir. I think Shanto should have been given a place in the squad.

Only reason I think Nasir is in the squad is because no Mossadek

^^ Mosaddek recovered from his eye infection long time ago, played the full BPL, currently playing in BCL.
