Umm...just to clarify. I had mates who were in jumma at that time. I can assure you all from them, that there was nothing physical.I doubt you can even call it verbal abuse. This is how a news gets taken totally out of context.

Really? Insulting the National Captain at a mosque?
Apparently some irate fan went after Mashrafee when he went for Jumaa. I'm as pissed off as the next guy at our team's gutless offering of canon fodder to all our ill-wishers. But isn't this taking fan frustration a bit too far?

For chaglami like this, the players are reluctant to interact with fans.
God, wish I was there. Would have given the bolod a piece of my mind.

If anamul or mominul or vhua tamim would get treated like that...I would understand people reaction......but mashrafe was the only man up there along with sabbir.....he should feel sorry for it what he did to mash....yes he could've say something about others...but not against mash like that....mash and musy is the fighters in our team...they play with heart.....people should understand...they don't take selfi like anamul....

Why so surprised? When a fellow country man of Mash gets chopped up, in broad day light in front of hundreds of people, for having a blog; Mash should consider verbal abuse as confetti.

This is shameful. Especially when they went to pray for Jumma. Even the ones taking a dig at Rubel for the Happy saga should also be ashamed.
Most of Bangladeshi fans are immature and over estimate their players.

This, this makes no sense whatsoever.

As an elder persn, may be he felt appropriate to talk to the booss, going through proper channel
Fans do worse things to vent frustrations ..... This doesn't look to be too aggressive, considering how far fans can go; so let's not take it very seriously

Yes that's the general impression watching them even online.
How does first time in MCG affect that? Do the field not cooperate with the firsttimers or the soil stinks? Success or failure is a different issue, how does the new ground obstruct, in trying to give the best effort?
You are being too kind on them I guess

Can someone explain why "verbal abuse" is such a big deal? What's the severity of the incident? People can talk sh*t about our players in this forum but we can't express our feelings to a player? How does this make us kharap jaati? It happens everywhere In every sport.

We are a very sensitive nation.
All we can do is find faults in others and have excuses for everything.
If you are a celebrity, you have to face the reality as well. You just can't get away with what pleases you.
He is the CEO of the BD team on field and have to answer to your shareholders.
As long as it does not turn into a bodily injury, this is not a front page news. But definitely a front page for tabloid!

The jummah prayer is not a time to answer by a CEO.
