At the same time however, local doctors have reportedly advised him not to take the field for at least a couple of weeks even though the neck scan revealed no damage. Conway said that Mushfiqur may need at least three weeks to fully recover from the hit on the neck.

Debutant highly likely. Possibly Nurul Hasan will get debut. one of Sarkar or Nazmul Hossain Shanto will likely play.

I've said this since the first test...and wouldn't mind saying it again....

Use Taskin like how SA use Kagiso.

He should no this role by heart, attack the batsmen.

I think rubel might replace him...

Don't expect much from this final test. I will still play Taskin provided the Fizz plays; both make a great duo. Drop either Roy or Kamrul. We got nothing to lose. I really hope NZ tours us again for 3 tests and 5 ODIs.

Shakib
Mustafiz
Taskin
Rubel
Taijul/Miraz

Imagine playing those 5!

If somehow Bangladesh managed to win this match and draw this series...they will jump over West Indies in the rankings and have a new rating of 73 to West Indies' 69...securing an 8th spot in the rankings

Shanto still in NZ and I would pick him ahead of SS anyday for test matches

There r no other opener so Mosa won't play unless you ask Mominul to open Nd Riyad at 3

So will Christchurch be the fabled 'green' pitch we've been hearing about and expecting for the past month?

Yep he needs to bowl short power bursts, 3/4 over spells, non of this 6/7 spells, no point in playing him that way, never be that type of bowler

Instead of 2 6/7 spells, you can bowl him 3 shorter better spells

Also drop Mehedi, not because he's got no hope, but Taijul will be better in New Zealand pitches with his bounce and am sure he can add 20 runs with the bat, looked much improved vs England with the bat

I wonder if its fair to Shanto to put him straight for debut in NZ. I mean SS looked like he was getting his form back. If he clicks, he can be our warner/sehwag.

perhaps wishful thinking.

I think Mahmudullah gets a pass only because two of the best test batsmen in recent times are injured, otherwise, It is high time for him to be dropped form tests....he has been pretty poor of late.
