Im sure you're a nice person :p all you need to do is put yourself in your gf's shoes & that should really give you the answer. Im sure you wouldn't like to be someone's second choice & how are you so sure that girl #1 is not trying to get over her break up by wanting to be with u? I find it a little weird how there are so many people in your position. I remember one of my friends was too. But then again at the end of the day, regardless of what i think or other members think or say, you are best to be with who ever is going to make u the happiest & reading from your post it seems like you have your heart set on girl #1

Yeah you are right it would be devastating. I've obviously taken that into consideration.

Ironically i do know how to be someones second choice cos i suffered it with girl #1 the first time. It definitely doesn't feel good.

Taking on Tiger444 bhai's advice girl #1 might be an opportunist.

Yeah you're right i do have a massive soft spot for girl #1.

You live in Australia right? That explains why you hear of many people in this same position.
