A father gave $150 to his son and $100 to his daughter. Together he gave them total of $150. How that is possible, tell me?

father kept $150 in the bank for 10 years and with interest he got back $250. then, he discriminately gave his son $150 and daughter $100. very easy.

OR

He gave the son 150 then the daughter 100 separately. Then gave another 150 to both of them to share, meaning the boy got total of 225 (150 + 150/2) and the daughter got 175 (100 + 150/2).

The father frst gave 50 bucks to his son. Then gave 100 bucks to his daugther. Then ordered the daughter to give it the entire money to her brother.

Actually, I got this dha dha from one of humayun ahmads novel. The name of the novel is "Pakhi amar akla pakhi". Anyway, the novel does not say the answer for the dha dha. My answer is this: the father gave $50 to his son and $100 more to his both child to share. That is how they are given total of $150. So Ferdous bhai ar biral chok bhai er ta amar tar shathe mile.

O by the way, the both child in the novel are male. I just made one female to spice up the dha dha!!

Well son or daughter, it still adds up to $250 in total coz it's not mathematically correct.. Logically the father probably gave $150 to son #1 and told him to give $100 to son #2.. I think..

Is it "Dha Dha" or "Dha Da" ?
I know its not "Da Da" like "Aa Da" or "Da Dha" like "Ga Dha".
The other Bangla Word that really confuses me is: "Thu Thu" or is it "Thu Tu"

Since there are two "chondrobindu"s on both the "dha"s, I guess the right way to write it in English would be "Dhan Dhan"???

Also, "ThuThu" is the right written form, but the "kothyo" form is "ThuTu". Same goes for "PhuPhu" ("PhuPu").

Certainly it is not hip-hop as your icon is suggesting.
It goes like..

"Dha dha tin ta, terey kate dhin ta."

My dad used to say it, I know the answer. The story behind it is: once kalidash was walking and saw a dead cow being eaten by vultures. so he said those two lines. Jaan (soul) is absense in the cow, so the vultures can eat it, but they won't be able to if jaan was there.
