He can score runs against anybody. It's the consistency that he lacks. If - and that's a humongous if - he can start making a habit of not throwing his wicket away, it wouldn't matter who we play, because you'll always see him getting the runs.
So no, SN is still the #1 minnow-basher.

lolz.. nice thread..
before this match he's played 32 games against zimb and averaged only 18 odd. he used to take the minnows very lightly.
i want him to become a minnow basher like everyone else in the team.. shakib & Tamim are minnow bashers as well
However, SN will always be the great minnow basher. Nobody can replace him lol

I had to go and look. I give you his last then ODI series stats. He seems to be an equal opportunity basher and and an equal opportunity screw-upper.

Ash is Rui-Katla Basher, his minnow-bashing capabilities are more inconsistent than his Rui-Katla bashing ones.

No player is Minnow Basher. It is foolish to belittle SN's centuries by calling him MB. No one else but SN scores as much as he does against the weaker oppositions and that only means SN is very consistent upto a certain standard and then he falters. Not something to laugh at people.

there is no way he can be minnow basher. i think he is worst against minnows, may be he doesnt play seriously. I just hope he become man of the series this time and keep up his consistency.
i agree with asif and others: SN will be the king of minnow bashing club

He always was good against the best attacks. Now He has just learnt to play the lower quality bowling as well. An added a Feather in his plume

I mean he'll hit a couple more 50s and 100s and then go back to scoring single digits.

While I did choose Option 2, I must admit that SN performed against established sides as well.

When did he have form in his life? I can't remember....
Better say, when he finds his form for the first time in his life, he will be a much more of a batsman....

Ash always plays well for a while after something bad happens to him like getting dropped or losing captaincy or something like that. Its proven and that is what happening now. He will be back to normal soon (2/year that is).
he would play exactly same way against stronger teams right now. so, no he is not a minnow basher. he is just going through that pick after losing captaincy.

Following the BD batting actually created a loads of hope that it seems a polarized poll.
Not enough options here. Neither Ash nor SN a minnow basher.
Today's century was one hell of an act - no confused shot, no rush of blood, not a tad bit of luck in any possible boundaries.
Awesome ton - BANFAN seems right so is Blah.
