Farhad Reza
I've seen many people here like Alok Kapali, Shahriar Nafees, and Aftab Ahmed from the ICL..I personally think that once the cooling off period is over, Farhad Reza has to be given anotther chance and should have a better chance of making the team because of our problems with our pace attack..without Mashrafe our pace is quite worrying and it really exposes how weak our pacers really are..even though we beat West Indies it was mainly because of our strong spin lineup..but if we rely only on spin to get wickets we are not gonna be able to win games..besides Mash everyone else has looked quite ordinary..rasel has not looked the same at all because of all the injuries but still has a good average..but looking at other players the averages are very poor..even though farhad reza had played 32 ODI's and picked up only 22 wickets at an average of 46, he showed some good talent espicially in his last game against Australia..if you guys don't remember he outbowled Shahadat..his first class bowling average is also a 24(which is better than Shahadat, Rubel, and Nazmul and his batting average in first class is also a 36..I believe like the other ICL players, he should prove himself once again in domestic cricket but I believe that he should be a guy to watch out for

He's our Tufnell. No coming back unless he improves his fielding by leaps and bounds. Dropping cathces is big No-No in int'l matches.

I think the days of Farhad are over - He wasnt much of a medium pacer ! He might get his chance in 20 20 thats it. All rounders post are taken by Shakib, Mahmud and Naeem. Team will prob go for Aftab , Alok and Nafees well ahead of Farhad. Also Mushraf could be a find I am surprosed no one mentined him yet.

i like one thing about reza: he is a fighter, energetic and athletic
his form is kinda worry, he will have to prove.
even in crappy ICL, he was super flop in both batting and bowling. That was the last tournament he played.

again, I think among the ICL ers
they have only chance in 20/20, because we dont have a good 20/20 team
aftab and nafis might sneak into ODI, thats all

farhad may get a chance in the team as a third meidum-pace bowler for bouncy pitch......otherwise it's all about spinners

from what i remember before the ICL he was doing ok with the ball, but he wasn't scoring runs with the bat and as already said needs to improve his fielding. in saying this he is probably the best pacer allrounder BD have atm, i know some like milon alot but i don't think his bowling is good enough atm.

I like Farhad for his clean hitting, and feel he was misused as a bowler. That said ... ক-দ-প-প

correct me if I am wrong, but didnt Farhad bowl at 78-80 MPH in the last australia tour he played in?? that is faster than our sharapova.....and he is a decent batter as well, he might give Nayeem/Riyad a run for their money, depending on the condition.

For some reason Farhad Reza reminds me of a clod plastic bag full of Brahmanbarian chanamookhi with a cricket ball!

exactly..he had some good pace..people I believe don't remember but he seemed to have very good pace and even seemed faster than Shahadat..i just don't see anyone better than him besides Mash and Rasel in ODI's tbh.. and even Rasel hasn't shown great form..once rubel develops then I think it will be hard for him to get in the team..but I think Rubel needs 2-3 years to develop as a consistent threat with the ball

I love Farhad for his hard work: determination to improve: batting ability yet to be proven in international cricket...
well, his bowling can only improve given he adds that occasional slow ball yorker + couple of nasty bouncers...
like Mehrab jr. he needs more Time spend time in academy => First class domestic cricket is a good opportunity for him: for now simply he is not ready for National Team...but i see potential

ya i agree with you bro..lotta people talking about alok, nafees, and aftab coming back on to the team..doesn't look good for them tbh..we are pretty much all set with our batsmen but out pace attack is weak so thats why I believe Farhad has a chance
