Default England vs Canada

England 279/6 (50 ov)
Canada 160/4 (34.0 ov)
Canada require another 120 runs with 6 wickets and 16.0 overs remaining

33.6 Collingwood to Samad, SIX, huge! Like that! Smashed over the stands, mullered over midwicket

Anyone watching this match?

Canada is putting up a great fight. This partnership is proving very dangerous for England, and they better know what happens if they lose.

I don't know who to root for. I usually back the minnows, even though what happened last WC, but I live in England and have feelings for them.

I'm watching, I opened a thread on today's matches but it turned into a blog... (:p to me), good bating by Canadians but Nixon stumped Mulla.
Now it's 161/5 and RRR=7.93.

I think Collingwood innings saved England.

ehm... 161/6

Another gone! Go Panesar.

35.1 Collingwood to Samad, OUT, and Panesar has struck now, that ball angling into the righthander, looking to whip that into the on-side

AM Samad lbw b Collingwood 36 (69b 1x4 1x6) SR: 52.17

England is effectively choking Canada. However, I think it will be still an achivement for Canada if they can reach 240-250.

England won by 51 runs.

Canada was doing well one stage, but England finally came on top.

Canada 228-7 (50 overs), England win.

Not bad by Canada.

Kenya should be encouraged by Canada's performence against England today (Kenya had restricted Canada by 199 and beaten them by 7 wickets).

I think like that too. Assuming that NZ will beat kenya the last game Eng v Kenya will be the decider and another upset by an associate could be possible.
