Bahsar now has 593 points but last year at one stage his score was 662.

reverse_swing is correct. Bashar is now ranked 35 with 593 points, ahead of Danguly(ranked 36)

Rafique is ranked 25 now!

Bashar has been in the Top 50 for ages.

According to PWC, Bashar first passed 500 points on 15/11/2001 when his rating was 508. Since then, only once Bashar's rating has dropped below 500 (468, on 16/12/2002). Right at this moment the player ranking at 50th has a rating of 472. Though this number obviously varies with time, it can almost safely be stated that, except for that 468 (possibly), he always was in the top 50 after 15/11/2001.
