Has the first eleven already anounced?
My pick for the first odi would be like this:
Nafees
Mehrab Jr
Aftab
Bashar
Ashraful
Sakib
Pilot
Rafiq
Razzaq
Rasel
Mashrafee

Its gonna be a flat wicket for sure. In pace department Masrafee is a sure call. Among Rassel and Sahadat, I would pick Rassel over Sahadat for his good line and length of medium pace. The spinner duo Razzaq and Rafiq will surely give Zimbos hard time. An odd 250+ on the board will secure our win...so the middle order must click with bat, specially Bashar. Fielding should be tight. I am hopeful for a series win!

Bashar said regular opener Shahriar Nafees might open the innings with Khaled Mashud, Farhad Reza or himself and that a final decision would be taken Thursday morning.
Looks like uncertainity with the opening continues. Not a good sign. They should give Mehrab jr a chance.

Bashar and Pilot have opened before several times with no success. But I have seen Farhad opening sometimes for the Rajshahi divisional team. Farhad is not a bad opener. But They should give at least a chance to Mehrab.

Aftab usually plays the new ball as most of the time within first few overs one of our openar gets himself out. As he plays the new ball most of the time, why not let him open with shahryar /

If something is not broken, dun fix it. He is doing really well in one down and I wouldn't move him anywhere.

As far as bowlers, Rajib should get preferance above Russel. Presently , Russel has become pretty expensive in his overs. Pilot should have been dropped long time ago. I can not stand seeing him batting which looks more like a net practice. And among the test playing nations WK , he has the lowest batting avg. Don't we have other Wk who can also bat as well ?

Just visited cricinfo to know the detail like when the match will be started and so on.And. guess what? They are not probably going to cover it live (until now they don't even have it listed as forthcoming live coverage)...While they are covering Barmuda vs Canada!!!

But, why I am surprised. Those morons are neglecting our games for long.

The cricinfo people are not in good mood as india is being humiliated in SA series. So dont mind if they have forgetful minds. It is good to know that vast majority of the cricinfo people are Indians.

Picking up the team, to me Rasel and Tushar will be out of question. Then only problem remains Mehrab Jr or Farhad. From the comments of Bashar, seems like Mehrab will be left and some temporary partner will be sorted for SN.

Even if Mehrab jr gets the chance, it hurts to think that Farhad will be out.He was doing pretty good until now, though didn't have much of a show in National League. But, I would rather like to see Mehrab getting few games. After all, finding out a permanent solution for opening seems more important,

I know..but, it really hurts to see that they are valuing games of ICC member countries than game between two test playing nation!!

Curse on ya..Cricinfo..or should we say it - freakinfo?!

Try English cricket board site www.ecb.co.uk . They always cover all Bd matches. I always look into that site if no one covers Bd natches.

Can we have a list of places (Online or sattelite) by country (USA, UK, UAE) to watch the games? I know there are some other threads going on, but it would be really helpful to have them in one place.

Can anyone do that please? Thanks.

One correction on the time. If the game starts at 9 am Bangladesh time, it should be 10 pm Eastern time in US. That is 22:00 hrs. not 23:00 hrs. Similar change needs to be made for PST.

Cricinfo has not yet posted the link to the scorecard in the series page. However, I managed to dig it out-

http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/bdes...ch/264066.html

Don't know if it will be of any use.
