the bowling was too good from India.
It shows that if the line & length is right u don't need great pace, the conditions helped too.

ya,Ithought so too,Nehra took 3 very important wckts & Sri lost by huge margins so the 60 odd runs from Dinesh didn't have that much impact.

Bowlers getting wickets on a difficult wicket is not as much great as only Indian batsman crossing 50, I reckon. 225 would have been chasable even with Nehra's bowling performance. I prefer recognition for the batsmen on a bowler's track and bowler's on batsman's track particularly when they are lone achievers in the department.

howcome CI not saying anything about the Srilankans?
They didn't go for the win today. They were very defensive and lost the wickets. look at their strike rates.
Freaking CI racists always go after the Bangladesh team.

congrats to India for winning the Asia Cup..it might have been a low key tournament but winning the Asia Cup is always noteworthy..still think their seamers are inconsistent though..their batsmen are talented but erratic..Dhoni really gets a beating from the fans but I think he's been a good leader..we'll see how they do in the WC because that's still the biggest tournament..but I believe they'll fare better then the 2007 WC..

sri lanka didn't go for the win today ?? on SR, lest you forget it was 269 they were chasing not 386, lot's of difference. they consolidated after losing wkts in a bunch but even the last players tried to hit out.
but I forgot, it's all crincinfo's fault.

ya these 2 are totally different cases..Lankans actually went for the win today while we gave up straight away..they loset lost early wickets which forced them 2 graft away..chasing 270 was always a tough ask for the Lankan batsmen..the difference with our players and theirs is of course that they actually win a lot of their games and they never give up..
