Loss of wickets in the end proves the point that perhaps some of our players are taking this series pretty lightly.

disappointing considering the start we had and the position we were in towards the final overs.

I think, they went for risky slogs as they had many wickets in hand. That's OK for the "Endschpiel"

Update - Bangladesh 260 for 9 (50 overs, Bashar 78, Saqibul Hassan 61)
Put into bat by the Prosper Utseya at the picturesque Harare Sports Club ground, Bashar and Fakib al Hassan put on 105 for the fourth wicket, says an AFP report.
"Bashar, who began cautiously, scored his runs off 87 balls and struck seven fours to record his 13th half-century. He was dropped when on 70 by bowler Gary Brent. Al Hassan's half century was his second and it came off 74 balls with six fours
"Bangladesh began steadily with their first three wickets falling for 93 at a run-rate of just under five an over, leaving the innings in the balance. Zimbabwe's fielding was sharp but their bowling none too accurate. Only about 500 spectators were at the ground with Zimbabweans showing very little interest in cricket despite 14 years with official Test status."

Cricinfo's calling Sakib "fakib"..
Some report, with political editorial comments as bonus...serving her majesty's interest..
Says "Zimbabweans showing very little interest despite 14 years with test status...". Conveniently forgets to mention that for the most part, its the occupying englishmen that played cricket there. The real Zimbabweans have just begun playing, and they should be given at least half a century to come up...to be fair.

Shouldn't the Zimbabwe innings start by now?

260 is not bad, but I was expecting 20 runs more. Let see how ZIM bat on this pitch against our bowling.

Every cricket site has got least interest in this series. No thread is opened in many other cricket forums. Even at BC, this is the first match thread which is not sticky

it may also prove our late or middle order cant use the long handle when it requires. But with Rafiq, mashrafi and mushfiq it shouldnt be the case. maybe Bd needs more firepower down there

Haha, stickied now.
It's not true that we don't have much of an interest in this game. It's been empty mostly because there has been no play-by-play coverage available.

Where is exactly Zimbabwe? In which galaxie/star/milky wave is it actually located? How could tigers reach there?...and if so, why on earth we dont get time to time latest updates???

260 is good for BD against Zimbos...they can't score more than 220.
Ashraful failed again, he is a liablity for BD team, only good in domestic cricket.
Tamim Iqbal should be playing in his place.

oh..just logged in..and checking the scores...
260 doesnt sound bad against the Zims.. but then again.. i hear we lost few many wickets at the dying overs with minimal runs... thats not a good sign..
let's see how they respond...
