Default Who can stop Australia ?

When I went to bed last night, Bond had finished his 10 overs for 23/6. NZ did not have enough firepower but at 83/7, I did not think Australia was going anywhere beyond 150, even though I had the Australia-England match in the back of my mind.

How do they do this ? Match after match.

I still see a Australia vs india final. If Bond can't stop India, than it will be a good fight between Tendulkar and Australia.

I frankly don't see anyone beating Australia! Australia is not just the best team but they know how to win. Think about the match against Pakistan when they were struggling with 5 wickets down under 100 and still scored 310. Then the match against England, and now New Zealand. These guys are amazing. India is playing much better now but I just can't see them beating Australia. Come the finals, I think Australia will be at their brilliant and clinical best, just like the 1999 finals.

Default STILL

If Nehra, Zaheer and Srinath light up as well as Tendu and co. the final (assuming that both teams will make it) will be an interesting one.

However, what I don't want to see is a Australia vs Kenya semi final. That might be a dud.

The way everything is going on, it seems that Kenya can stop Australia, but not in the Super Sixes stage, may be in the finals?

Come to think of it, Australia and Kenya seem to be the two teams who are on high spirits.

India were on high spirits, but still they lost to Australia and that was probably their only bad game.

Tendulkar can stop Australia. But i don't think India will reach the final. Kenya are playing out of their skins and should beat India comfortably in the semis. I see a AUS v KEN final.

Default India and Australia

Yes, kenya surprised me BIG TIME with their win against Zimbabwe and I wish all the best to them but they ARE playing out of their skin.

If they beat India (and they have done so before - on two occasions - sandwitched between a ten wicket and an almost 200 run defeat), good for them but that would be one of the biggest upsets in this world cup. Bigger then Kenya beating Sri Lanka.

Final: Srilanka v Kenya (preferred)
or : Srilanka v India

I believe Kenya has a great chance to beat India if India doesn't play "sensibly". Just look what they are doing to Australia.

The way Sri Lanka is playing right now, they will probably be crushed by Australia but I think Sri Lanka will go because WC always defies all the predictiions by pundits. Also Sri Lanka barely made it to semis - therefore they have a better chance of "recovering".

The thing is Australia too will start to play "sensibly" after this game against Kenya. 2 wickets just fell back to back as I write this. Amazing!

Default INDIA CAN STOP AUSTRALIA

India have the world's best batsmen in Sachin Tendulkar. He will tame the Aussies. I can't wait to see a Sachin century against Australia.

Final India v Aus

India 354/7
Aus 298 all out.

INDIA ARE THE 2003 WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS !!!

James90,

Fortunately none of my brothers were lost.... and when we were born 18 years ago there wasn't such good clone technology...so forget about a clone too...
Just a good coincidence nothing more than that
