Which is your favourite Airline?
What is your favourite airline that you have travelled with going into and out of bangladesh? Consider, check in timings, service on board, entertainment value, food quality, leg room, time maintenance and condition of the aircraft.

I go to Bangladesh about 2-3 times a year and have tried out most airlines serving that route. None of them beat Emirates. Although their business class seats are dated, the services onboard and at the airport (lounges) are exceptional.

lol seriously? they are one the worst airlines that have ever existed, that is not an exagerration, did u hear about the nose cone story? where it ripped off during mid air, and the pilot had to land it impossibly, another thing is that the planes are really old, bought from usa and old british airways.

I have to say, I am more often than not disappointed with Emirates these days. From the ground staff to the cabin crew, they aren't as good as they used to be in the mid-90s. Sometimes, you'll ask for a window seat or aisle, they'll say they have them but then they'll put you bang in the middle, Dubai will invariably lose your luggage if you have a short stop-over, they take ages to serve food these days and take even longer to clear away your tray table.
Personally, I think BA has improved a lot over the same period that Emirates has gone down. You still do get the occasional flight attendant with something stuck up her backside, but generally they are pretty good. For me BA is by far the most convenient because of the direct flights between London and Dhaka. And their business class with the flatbeds is just fantastic for the rare occasions that I get upgraded!

YEs emirates has been quite bad in the past few years. One of my cousins were coming or going to BD (not sure which one). They told me there was a 15 hour delay because of the plane. I hope they get better soon. I'm going to BD in a year or two and im not sure what to use. I might take Quantas if it went to BD. Maybe Thai.

Emirates was great when I flew it in 2002... didnt take it after that... BA was great in 2003... didnt take it after that... Saudi was terrible when i took it in 2004...
both BA and Emirates were great. Wud have taken BA again if i cud afford it last year...
Strong advice: DO NOT FLY from dhaka to Europe in Saudi Airlines... till Jeddh/riyadh (for stopover/transit) its like dhakar motijheel er bus... (please ppl dont take offence in this... I really really do mean it though...) the waiting and and boarding quese is terrible... and once in Jeddah they DO NOT CARE abt the passengers... i was suppose to go from Riyad to Frankfurt... they cancelled the flight... that info never went up on the board and the flight number never came up there... and then after a 6 hr additional wait over my 8 hr transit time (which was boring caz the waiting lounge had only 3 extremely high priced shops) they finally decided to board us on a plane that took us to jeddah which was supposed to be a stopover originally... got us to go thru customs there and then boarded us on a plane to PRAGUE... all this was done with not telling us all these was happening... we found it out as it happened... awesome eh?

Most friendly? It's nothing to write home about.. They are simply cousins of BA when it comes to customer service.
Service-wise perhaps Singapore Airlines and Emirates are the best, but best pilots would have to be BA.

I traveled by Biman, Thai, Cathy, China, United, Singapore, Gulf, PIA, ANA
and found Singapore is the best and Biman is the worst so far.

No one voting for qatar airways? I think they are one of the most improved in recent times since they started operation back in the late nineties. Maybe no one really voted for dem becos they are pretty new and so no one has flew with them yet, but trust me, they are going to be a top airline competing with the likes of emirates, qantas, singapore. From my personal experience, id say they are better than emirates and British airways.
Id never fly with Biman again as their service is disgraceful and their aircraft is falling apart bit by bit especially with the old DC-10s which were bought back in the early eighties!
Id say with BA, you are ensured a flight of which is on time with no delays but I must say their FA are damn well rude! They cant even raise a smile!
