Bangladesh potential vs their mentality
I watched the full match of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka yesterday and very carefully observed that how responsibly the Pakistan batsmen batted their way to victory. They defended the best deliveries, played the normal deiveries for ones and converted the worst deliveries into boundaries.
Our batsmen play with the mentality of how to convert every deliveries into big runs. Hence, I strongly believe our batsmen need to reform their batting mentality.

Hi
It will happen only if Bangladesh plays an abnormal game today. Bangladesh has never won by one run or one wicket or so on. I guess they play abnormally well when they defeat other test giants like South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Srilanka etc. Look back and check history: they won by at least 3 wickets or at least ten runs. It is difficult to defeat a competitive team by even one run if both play their natural game, Bangladesh don't. I can smell a bit of internal politics in the Bangladesh team: Ash vs Mortoza, or so to speak, Dhaka Division vs Khulna Division. In the last two matches, Ash did not allow Shakib or Motoza to bowl the last crucial overs. Why didn't Ash come to bowl and pick the wickets which he did so many times? Was he playing a blame game against other bowlers? I think it is time to kick him out of the team now and replace him with either Mortoza or Shakib. I also pray that Bangladesh win today, but with absolute certainty, I gurantee that Bangladesh won't be able to level the series today unless they play abnormally well today.
Lets only hope that our hearts will not be broken today. May allah help us all and give Ashraful common sense and better judgement. To me, using Shakib, Mortoza, and Mahmudulla are the only solutions to bowl the last six overs. At least statistics in the last game will support my observations (none of these bowlers gave more than two runs on an average).

On the paper, BD has better potential in both batting and bowling as compared to Zim. The bowlers are already in their high performing really GREAT in all the Tri nation ODI's against both ZIm and the mighty Lanka... Its only a matter of the batters getting back their confidence to reap the result of their potential.. and this is going to happen today..... Just hang on there
