If we win the QF, who are we likely to face in the semis? I don't really get the playoffs structure.

IfI was this nervous for the Quarters, don't know what will happen for the semis.
People want WI for the semis but Alzari Joseph is seriously quick, he can do what Mitchell Johnson did to England and create havoc. Either we need to practice at 90 mph or hope Pak makes it.

Pak on the other hand are always good at this level. Have won this cup and been runners up and always does well. I would be very wary of them. But if we keep our nerves, we can reach the finals. Its all about believing yourself and taking on pressure, must field well. Overall a good unit that is sticking together, communicating well, looks like everyone is gelled together.

Saif is 17 and can play another WC but his performance needs to be reviewed. Maybe it is time to give Shafiul Hayat a chance who won that England game for us I think. Move Joyraz up the order.

And eventhough Pinak is a brilliant batsman, his rbw is bad! He has been runout twice out of 4 times this tournament and his fitness is simply one if not the worst out of all the players I have seen for Bangladesh ever. He is 17 too and can play another WC but still his fitness needs to go up, period. Can't pull down the whole team with wickets at crucial times.

Semi finals will be a harder challenge but from here onwards, the cubs should believe in themselves and be proud of their achievement. Their gameplan in batting was too good, loved Miraz, their is a saying in bangla "janta diya khelse", he did just that. He was diving for every risky run, talking instructing yelling to his partner, I don't know how he bowled but I saw his fielding and bowling at another match. Just gives it his all and is such a pleasure.

It is just a pure joy to see such passion in the cricket field. Something I feel lacks in Shakib these days. It is innocent yet powerful.

Now forget all the negativity, and imagine for a second......
If we won the ICC Under 19 World Cup in Mirpur..........

It's about time after many many counts of frustrating years of winning a consolation prize of the plate finals (who cares). This team may lack a good pace attack and questionable opening pair but it is proving to be just enough till now because they are working together. I am very impressed with some of the talents so far, but they havent been tested with a team who have the firepower and who play spin well. So if an opposition does get to score 300+ I think we will fall short. But Miraz, Shanto, Saifuddin have done what Soumya, Liton, Mustafizur couldn't do. So that speaks volumes.

Nevertheless, it is time we celebrate and if we become the group champion then we will clash against the Nepalese in Quarters, and from there it might mean Pakistan in the Semis who I am a bit worried about but we should get through to the Quarters if we can beat Namibia next. And if we can get through Pakistan we may win this world cup!

Congrats to the team on crossing the first barrier, Quarter Finals here we come!
I think in last tournament we were very unfortunate that Afghanistan managed to cause an upset out of nowhere. We obliterated Afghanistan, won comfortably against Namibia and then screwed up against Australia, which can happen as they are always a very good team.
