I don't know the current ticket price but my gripe is why raise the price? I guess empty stadium is better than keeping the ticket price same. Or they thought they could hide their previous mistake of printing extra tickets last time around. If this was Australia series the price hike would have been justified. People want to see the number one team.
Or CB calculated Kenyan match has higher demand?

Cricket Board has got it wrong. Ticket price should be immediately lowered and we want the full stadium shouting, cheering and whistling throughout the game as bangladesh wins.....
There is lot of interest for the second match in Khulna. Ticket sell is good there..........

Wow nice!! Maybe I should join you guys, Pm me with the details.
I live by Lake shore, right by Lincoln park. But I am only in Chicago over weekends due to work
Are you guys mostly from BUET? When I was in Urbana for my undergrad, the serious and brilliant Buet grad students always scared the heck out of me

I can't believe my luck that Channel I is broadcasting live all 4 matches. Just the other day I was thinking to myself about all these private channels in BD - why can't they broadcast even highlights of ODIs? And now, heaven opens up with live broadcast, no buffering, no small screen on computers........
Am I dreaming or what

James, don't worry man, the important stuff is still in English. This was just silly banter between me & Sauron on his penchant for using off-color language when he slips into the mother tungoo
B'sides, why don't you learn Bengali? It's a beautiful language

And to help prevent this, we have instituted Unicode support. Romanized bangla should be a thing of the past soon

... a lot of sport media do pay attention to this kind of websites to gauge the level fan spirit. I think we should definitely try to use the universal language English in this forum to better accommodate any foreign guests and anybody who does not understand the language.

If a sports reporter wants to gauge the level of fan support based on a web site, than he's not a good one. Anyway, plenty of sports reporter have come and posted here - from BBC, CI, and DS. It's not like we have all Bangla all the time. Most of the analytical pieces or really meaty discussions tend to be carried out in English anyway. Bangla is used when people want to emote, or make a funny comment which would be really lost in translation. I don't see why that should be stopped.
Trust me this comes from a guy who was English Medium all through out, came to states at 17 and is VERY comfortable with English. Doesn't mean I can turn off my Bangla side right?

I can speak Begali, and read it when its in English letters... but my proper Bengali reading is so slow that I give up after teh first few words lol
Ok now to the lack of ticket sales.... our batsmen LOVE to play to the crowd....this could be a good thing...

On the first post, it says that the game will start on 9:30AM local time. what is the source of that?
as long as I can remember, all test matches in bangladesh used to start at 9:30AM but not ODI. ODI always used to start at 9:00 AM.
