The first one was a sitter that Hom dropped when Taibu was at 16. That added at least 67 to ZIM score. Hom made up some of it by scoring 32.

Ufff.... it was very sad sad sad. how can you collapse like that on a batting paradise of a pitch when the total was within reach of getting with many wickets in hand and it was easy going!!! they just don't have the mental strength at all well and the wise thinking deeded to win.

Just think positive guys. This was a very close game. Even though we lost the series, I think they will be more confident in the next two games. We need to get our confidence back and play as a team.

I cant understand why people are blaming Mushy today..Yes he wanted to finish it off with a bang but he had no other choice. Nazmul was batting on the other end..

I'm sure you understood after seeing Hom & Nasir today, that everyone needs time to adjust at this level. And yet not sure how they will turn up at the end. So, drop X & drop Y attitude is more damaging. removing any player from the team should be a very thoughtful decision. Let these new guys continue for atleast 3 series and then you can see if they are improving or not. Like Nayeem, Riyad, Rokibul etc etc many guys came as extremely tallented players. All of them stopped learning/improving IMO. I don't know if the team environment is conducive to learning or not. Its not a new observation though, Very few players have been able to improve after coming to the national team. So, I think just chopping changing and bringing in new players, these are very temporary solutions. The real problem is in some where else, lets find and solve that first.

The newcomers Shuvagoto and Nasir will have been taught a harsh lesson today, let's hope they learn from their mistakes today.

The problem is we lost the series against ZIM.

I guess we now know how NZ felt...

What a load of tripe! That ball was there to be hit. Mushy just couldn't get under it as much as he needed to. Realize that that was the last over, 5 runs were still needed, and he couldn't afford to take a single.

Mushy did the best he could... and doesn't deserve to be blamed for being caught out on that stroke.

আসল কালপ্রিট শুভ, চিগুম্বুরার ঐ ক্যাচ না ফেললে সে সাকিবের ওভারে ১৬ রান নিতে পারতো না।

I've now wasted 11 days of my life watching these guys lose

That's on average 66 hours of cricket.

Shakib! It is never his fault! Today it was fielding. Was not ever a part of game where a couple of catches dropped?

@LateCut, in my opinion Shakib's bowling was incredibly poor today but that was only heightened by shoddy catching. He was visibly pissed off and it greatly affected his bowling performance. Shakib is increasingly proving himself to be unworthy of the Ice Man moniker but 4-5 dropped catches at this level, with 3 of just one batsman is unforgivable. The 16 run over was a turning point in the game and it goes without saying how decisive Shuvo's dropped catch of Chigumbura was.

(A trite observation, I know, but I just realized that Chigumbura hit two sixes of Shakib and Shakib hit one off him. The margin of defeat: 5 runs =/)
