Default WOW!

A batting order that goes upto no.9 and still can not muster 100 odd runs! This batting is as much of a mockery as is even Indian bowling but they still win matches despite their bowling...sadly they cant do that except against BD and that too hardly:P

Default Were pakistan ever that good?

Well they have home ins against BD and depleted NZ sides, but abroad and agaisnt top sides much improvement is needed. Take for example 5 straight Test series defets in last 8 years against Australia. And this was supposed to be their golden age of quickie fire pace bowlers. Hell even India's bowlers managed to clean sweep Aussies in 4 Tests and winning 2 Test Series.

Any taker?

Default Pakistan Team Is Fine

Two world-class batsman in Inzamam and Youhana, two express bolwers in Shoaib and Sami, two of the best all-rounders in Razzaq and Azhar, and 5 young talents (Yaseer, Shoiab Malik and Co.), I don't think there is anything wrong with the composition of the pakistan team.

They are a formidable opponent as ever.

If there is anything wrong, it's in their heads. They had better clear it and focus on what they do the best which is playing cricket instead of bragging like how good their world class speed stars are or how quicke can this kiddo Irshad can bowl. Thank you!

whats it with you and pakistan. just like steve waugh said that express bowlers come once in a century so its best to give a try. we beat Nz in the test series which hardly anyone has done lately and beat SA at home too and this is from a rebuilding team. of course im dissapointed with yesterdays performance but its a very young team which is still learning.

If youre still learning, then spot on this point. Pls don't brag too much about how world class your express bowlers are! Shoaib is the only weapon of Pakistan who can change the color of a play even with his two deadly spells, but does it work in every match?

Default Writing on the wall

In my humble opinion, India are going to destroy Pakistan. Paki are barely capable of beating teams like us Bangladesh at home.

With a captain like Inzi and a useless batting order that goes till no. 9 and still doesn’t cross 100 odd runs, they stand no chance. Trust me its gonna be a big embarrassment to be thrashed at home. I wish it wasn’t the case but atleast I can see the writing on the wall. The series win against NZ was merely a fluke and a big one too, since their strike bowler Bond and batter Ashley were absent, otherwise it would have been a whitewash. I hope someone can turn things around and at least put some sort of fight against India in the coming series.

Right now there is not one star player (consistent) in Pak team. Inzi can not cross 20s and 30s any more and youhana can not cross 60 or 70s and that’s about it. I don’t remember any of them making big scores lately. I see no hope but lets all pray for a miracle.

no pakistani has ever said mohammed sami is world class, neither is danish kaneria nor irshaad but they do have the potential to become world class bowlers as they are very young.

irshaad is 19, gul is 19, sami is 22 and kaneria is 22 as well. im sure they have the potential to become great bowlers eventually. tell me how many teams would play such a young bowling attack.

remember shoaib was nowhere near the bowler sami is at the age of 22.

Sorry?? Come again?? The cleansweeped the Australian batting line up? That's why Ponting hit two consecutive double tons, Langer hit two centuries also Hayden, Katich hitting hundreds as well. They struggled to get Gillespie out!!! However Agarkar and Kumble were great they just couldn't find anyone to bowl alongside them...Pathan is reasonable but who else did they try...Zaheer kept breaking down, Nehra was terrible so they went to Murali Kartik as a second spinner.

Looks like our new man Naverene (what are you exactly ?) has taken up the role of premiere Paki basher from Shubho.

All concocted over some alpine tonic in an Innsbruck watering hole ?

Once a dear pakistani friend of my revealed to me that out Chief of Airforce actually didn't know how to fly a plane even !! And I have been losing my sleep ever since !!

You Austrians simply adore your respective dad's political opinions a little too much. Get over it !! Socialism is dead, and any attempted trickery under the guise of an American lover will only make you guys an even worse loser than you are.

Hick !! Now where did all that come out from? I must be drinking myself too. And Mudasser, as long as Pakistan has that 5+ test ranking, the lesser spoken of the great players (oooh, where are they ?), the better.

But we know, you are proud of every Pakistani player just as we are of every Bdeshi.

Now where's my bottle, dammit !!!

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but i find this fellow extremely irritating. Hmm.. Austria, eh? Coincidence? Think not. Not even a good impersonator.

Pundit, better wake up from your soporific trances before you lose your senses out of alchohol. Only this way you might find that your previous post had nothing to do with cricket.

And Carte Blanche, please ignore my threads if you feel like even an online virtual entity like me is able to get on your nerves. I am sorry if you found me irritating.

That explains why the lack of sleep! More seriously, pls share the name of the Air Force chief in question. I just want to make sure it wasn't anyone in the family lineage - although the one I am thinking of actually flew pretty well! Being a patriot, you must gave registered some protest that this dear friend would bash a Bangladesh Air Force chief - unless of course the guy was a socialist, in which case I will understand completely if you didn't.
