I didn't finish the video for two reason when I watched it before.
appeal to emotion
seemed like a propaganda for Islamic bank
Call me a heartless bastard and not empathizing with her, but almost everyone in our life has personal problems, ranging from psychological, physical, financial, social, etcetera. It's how you overcome them that matters. There are lakhe, lakhe amputee beggars in streets of Dhaka and I can't even imagine to understand their hardships. So sister you are not alone.
And I don't find Nazrul's laurel example particularly firm; he was given that as an honor and award not that he expected or demanded it unlike the girl in the video. I am sorry but I can't empathize with the girl unless I am missing something at the end of the video....
^ lol brother its the intention. Who is this guy? Any idea if this is a dvd or he is performing in some show. The entire video might be available somewhere in the internet.
I have no idea really - it seems to be part of a show. Given that the video was on the comedian's own channel, I'm guessing he isn't a big name yet. I just came across it while looking for videos of Hashim Amla batting (that are not against India, BD or the Netherlands!)
Yeah BANFAN bhai, the UK doesn't allow streaming of Hulu, the Daily Show, Colbert Report etc. It's a real shame. I think Channel 4 shows some episodes of the Daily Show but not regularly like Comedy Central.
^ No you can't Ajfar bhai. I watch old episodes when I go visit my parents in Germany because it's possible to stream it of the Daily Show website there.

THats a shame actually. May be they fear John picking on monarchy some day, if they get a UK audience..!!! Or is there any official justification for such actions??

The Daily Show does have a big UK audience, it's just that they have to watch what's provided to them on their terrestrial TV i.e. Channel 4. I know that on the Daily Show website there is a great archive where you can watch all their past shows, but that is inaccessible to UK internet users (without using internet proxies, etc.)
Also, as far as I know, the Daily Show has made quite a few pointed barbs at the monarchy and the UK =p They even have a 'UK Special Correspondent' Jamie Oliver. (Who coincidentally does a lot of comedy work with cricket satirist Andy Zaltzman)
