Suggestion for the mods

i have noticed that the match archive section (a very nice addition to the forum, i might add) is usually slowed by several months in uploading the most recent matchs.

i was just wondering if just prior to match start, when the threads are much smaller, if the match threads could then be moved directly into the match archive. that way we could access the threads any time rather than wait months.

also since the match archive forum is locked, is it possible then to just unlock the current match thread which could be re-locked just after a match (say 30 mins after to allow adequate post game sentiments).

Archive section is just for what the name suggest, for the purpose of archival. Match threads catch the action-reaction and the emotional roller coasters in real time. We just wanted to preserve it and hence the locked nature of the forum.

There are two potential problems with the suggestion.

Many visitors, not necessarily all members, follow the match thread and the most obvious place to look for the current one is the Bangladesh Cricket forum, not the Archive forum.

Changing the status between locked and unlocked is not quite convenient and subject to unnecessary errors.
