lets you put in price and location.

there's many sites like this. just punch in "torontoapartments for rent," or better try "suites for rent in toronto and area" I didn't even look at this one, but took me 2 seconds to find it, just to show you.

..... and welcome to the mix ! ....

once you are here, you can get to know the city and move again.

I would phone and ask managers questions you make a list too.

1. is it high crime rate area?
2. what are the neighbours like, is it party area? ..or quite?
3. is heat included?
4. is there a contract? one month, 3 months, 12 months?
5. Is cable included?
6. is there shopping centers near by/ bus? transit?
6. what is the damage deposit?
7. whatever else you need, just ask them?

...again, once you are here, you can easily move next month before you fill it up with furniture. just make sure it's a place which is only for montly rental, and one month notice will let you move. than you can find what you really like, if you don't get it the first time.

instead of one bedroom apartment, i would try and get into a bsmt suite. that way you talk to the owner who lives upstairs, it's usually a housing areas, and they are usually cheapter, like around $500 with free cable and heat. It's the best way to start, and if it's anything like Vancouver, every 2nd house has a bsmt suite in it to help with the mortgage.

that way you won't end up in a high crime, dangerous area, which is usually the case for apartments that are the cheapest, but not for basement suites.

good luck.

Vlad.

Rana,
How long do you need the apartment for? What area do you live now and what area are you looking to reside? May be I can help.

Main thing is do you have a family? Are they coming with you? Do you want to live close to bangladeshis or close to downtown? Would you rather own a car or travel by TT? etc. Knowing the full situation there are many BC members who can help/advice you.

Default Need help to find an apartment

Dear Mr. Ehsan,

Thanks for your help. I need an apartment for 6 month, so that I can change it based on my job location. But I will prefer it with basic facilities like near to shop, bus stand or TT. My family will be coming with me and I have 1 kid. Hope you understand the needs for a new commer.

Looking forward for your cooperation.

Regards,
Rana
