Mashrafee is amazing. A true fighter and leader. I was reading on cricinfo how he actually explains in Bangla to the bowlers what the coach has been saying. That's great stuff right there. He's an asset for team So happy he's getting his form back. He was being missed.

I always like him as a player, and as a person. He could have been a very good captain for Bangladesh. Too many injuries deprived us from that possibility.

I will go in EVERY THREAD, EVERY TIME and try to give the other perspective and support them. I love my country, my team and trust all these boys, EACH and EVERYONE !! I can never ever question their integrity who is representing my country. Before criticizing I think we should learn how to appreciate as well.

You don't need to enter into too much of their heart and mind to know if a game was selfish or not. You probably can't do that and a blind belief doesn't help and it's absolutely irrelevant to his performance in the field.
A players game should be assessed on what is displayed on the ground, instead of reading too much into patriotism and love for the country. A selfish game, when played, is clearly visible in the field and it can be played by a highly patriotic person as well......these aren't generally interrelated...

So does anyone here know how bad is Mash's injury this time? Why the hell is our luck like this? Just when it seemed like our best fast bowler was regaining his original form he gets injured again? We really need a fast bowler as good as Mash quickly

That's what I was anticipating. Wanted him to be rested for a match after playing 2/3 matches...we really need to use him for crucial matches and give him enough rest to avoid injuries. Meanwhile others getting chances in patches will gradually takeover the role from him....we don't need to destroy him through overusing...

It was an excellent decision by the management Why? We played back to back Day Night games so he needed that rest. of course, myself and many fans are applauding this decision since his replacement has surprised all of us and picked up 3/31 bohut achcha performance hai ..

This is also precisely why we need to look to develop other pacers and rotate pacers accordingly. Rubel, Mash, Shafiul, Nazmul, and Abul form our pace attack so far. It's important we look after all of them and develop them.

I saw this talk show after the game in machranga tv where Shumon the selector said he has no injuries but rested as we want to get more service from him. I am not sure what is happening behind the scene here? Very fishy before the big game u seat the most experienced pacer...

Hope he gets some good rest before his next assignment. I heard Mushfiqur was saying he played 2 ODIs with extreme pain. That's quite brave from him and that's why us fans love him so much.

'I'm a big fan of McGrath's consistency'
Champion tree-climber, swimmer and one-time fast driver Mashrafe Mortaza talks about the things that make him tick
Interview by Mohammad Isam
We hear you're an expert tree climber?
I have been climbing trees since my childhood. Whoever has climbed trees will tell you it is very hard to go up coconut and palm trees. One night I fell off a coconut tree and it hurt, but I didn't break anything. My friends told me that since I wasn't hurt, I should go up again. And so I did.
Did tree climbing ever come handy in your fast bowling?
I think more than the climbing it was my swimming in the Chitra river that helped me. From a very young age I swam in the middle of the river, mainly against the tide. I remember I could do it for two hours at a time, so that has helped make my body very flexible, and helped me recover so many times from injury.
