IN REFERENCE to post #24.
Come on now bro, that's enough sarcasm. Can't you not see that Boom Boom was on fire, that could have happened to the best of teams.
You do have a point to question the captain's role, I too am wondering why he didn't bowl Ziaur and bowl Mominul to complete 10 overs.
But when our emotions gets the best of us, it is better to not let all leaked out. I know he dropped a crucial catch, but still at the end of the day, there must be a loser and a winner, It is evident in politics. Cheer up bro, GO tiger!!!

Win or lose ... Play same as we played against pakistan. Play with confidence, play with your merit, better time will come. I know luck is not favoring us, so what can we do? We can do just running the show, toy will heal. Go bd go.

Desired XI: Anamul, Imrul, Momin, Mushfiq, Shakib, Nasir, Zia, Mahmud, Arafat, Rubel, Al-Amin
Full-time bowlers: Shakib, Arafat, Momin, Mahmud, Al-Amin, Rubel
Part-time bowlers: Zia, Nasir
We can probably do with one less bowler and one more batsman. Shabbir would've been perfect. Naeem instead of Mahmud/Rubel is an option.
If Razzak starts over Mahmudullah, that's fine, but it'll be infuriating if Razzak starts over Arafat. And I'm totally expecting to be infuriated.

This is our last chance to win and get to the 4th position overtaking Afghan, we are a much better team than Afghan, it will hurt me real bad to be 5th.
And also this will give us some confidence before T20 cup.
|
This game is very meaningful for Bangladesh.
1) Try and get the 4th place ahead of Afghanistan.
2) Try and improve on ICC ODI ranking points.
3) Build the confidence of the Tigers, ahead of the World T20.
4) Most importantly, give the fans something to cheer about.

Whats the point playing, until you get the basics right? First need to learn ABCD of cricket:
1. Bat, if you are supposed to bat after winning the toss. Play according to your strength
2. If you pick a bowler for bowling, then use him, at least try him out until proven useless
3. If a bowler becomes expensive, stop using him.
4. If someone is successful and getting wickets, then continue to use him.
5. If opposition is in pressure, keep up the pressure and go for the kill
6. Stop blaming your own players. Take responsibility of stupid captaincy
7. Urge BCB to promote and start using UDRS
8. Urge BCB to fire incompetent local umpires
9. Hire a real experienced intelligent cricket head coach
10. Make the selectors work hard for their money and stop selecting wrong set of players

I may have been hallucinating, but I thought I saw Bijoy improve from "no footwork" to "appalling footwork" during the early overs of the previous match. Looking forward to the "appalling" improve into "bad", the "bad" turn into the "not that bad", and eventually "not bad at all" someday.
