Default Your most anticipated Bangladesh game till today

We all seem to be on edge today - waiting in eager anticipation for this game.

Question:

What was your most anticipated Bangladesh match?

That game in the ICC final trophy?
The last games of the Kiwi series to see if we could whitewash them?
Our first WC game?

Very tough question to pick one. But most anticipated matches are (for me):

1. Match against Keyna in ICC trophy where we lost to them and could not qualify for WC
2. ICC Trophy final match against Kenya
3. Bangladesh's first ever WC match (against NZ) 99
4. Inaugural Test match against India
5. WC 2007 match against India
6. Last ODI of NZ whitewash series
7. WC 2011 match against India

For some reason, the first match to come to mind was the test against Australia where we ended the first day at something like 335-5. I was going to watch the 2nd day at the stadium and the anticipation of seeing something historic happen kept me up all night. Issh, the following days were so painful

SA vs Bangladesh...we all know how that ended :S

That win would have placed a quarter final berth!

todays match is certainly up there...but not sure if its top place.

on the list for sure are:

- WC match against Canada in 03 (first match since I really started following cricket...supposed to end our losing streak)
- Asia Cup match v PAK in 1997 (my first BD cricket match)
- WC match v India in 2007
- WC match v WI in last WC
- WC match v SA in last WC
- WC match v IND in last WC

much less anticipation:

- 3rd ODI v NZ in 2010 (could we seal a series against a top side?)

Would have to agree with Naimul on most of them.
Today's match is pretty up there too.
Couldn't sleep properly last night.

bzzzzt...

Yes, they all may be anticipated. But do raise your head out of the fumes induced by self-glorification and look at the use of the word "most" in the thread title. I would refuse to entertain any riposte from you that they are ALL EQUALLY anticipated. You would be speaking out of your nether regions then.

Oh Good Doc,

How could you slam that image after the friendly smiley he put? It's almost like shooting a puppy in the eyes.

On topic: I was up for 2 days before BD-India match which we got thrashed real bad.

In a sense, it is a related post as you can deduce from my posts that my most anticipated games are when Nazmul Hossain is expected to play...

I'd also go with the match against Kenya in ICC trophy '94. I had skipped school to listen to the radio commentary. Had almost chased it down but wasn't meant to be.
