Default Pakistan in Zimbabwe 2011

Pakistan play one Test, three ODIs and two Twenty20 games against Zimbabwe, kicking off their tour with a two-day warm up game against a Zimbabwe XI from August 28 in Bulawayo.

after their success against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe can assess themselves further against a side with far better quality. they can judge actually how far they have progressed against Pakistan.

Pakistan have never been short of talented cricketers its the off-field controversial issues which halts their progress again and again.

Pakistan had success in WI and will like to continue their progress and will like to dominate against Zimbabwe and also Bangladesh later.

THE TRUTH.

What that flag means to me because I'm Bangladeshi, NOT Bangalitasni.

Exploitation. Discrimination. Fascism. Genocide. Mass Rape. Mass Torture.

No acknowledgement, no apology, no reparation, Al Badr (Jamaat), Al Shams (Muslim League, BNP, JP and even BAL elements), ISI, AQP, Taliban, LT, HUJI, ZERO Taqwa, overflowing Shirk, and committing suicide and homicide in GOD's name!

The devil ain't my brother!

I'll be rooting for Zimbabwe with E-X-T-R-E-M-E prejudice.

If I have to predict based on their current strength, Pakistan should win with ease.

But then we are taking about unpredictable Pakistan, who are known for self inflict, nothing will surprise me.

The paki batting looks vulnerable with only the two oldies (younis and misbah) having any sort of test credentials. I think if Zimbabwe bowl as well as they did against us and more importantly if Vitori is fully fit... it might get interesting

the pakis will be in for a surprise indeed. Bangladesh might have taken Zimbabwe lightly and paid the price, but the pakis will now feel the full force.

go Zimbabwe!

p.s. I don't care if Zimbabwe moves over us in test rankings. that will actually prompt us to work harder and harder to get back on top. currently, we are a worse side than zimbabwe (based on performance and approach to test cricket).

as for Vitori, this will be interesting to see how he does against a side whose batsmen won't commit harikiri on a regular basis.

A second string Zimbabwe attack bundled out the Pakis for 222... I have a feeling this tour will really showcase how far Zimbabwe really improved...

they have improved quite a lot, but also, Pakistan's test batting is only slightly stronger than ours, that too with the addition of the two veterans, misbah and younis.. without them, they would be the worst test batting side..

umar akmal is talented no doubt but he too suffers from the typical infighting/grouping problem. Several times he has refused to play when his brother (the worst keeper in the history of cricket) was not picked in the team.

I want Zimbabwe to win and get close to us.

It will send another message to BCB to sort out our domestic cricket.

If 58, 78 didnt give enough message to BCB then I really dont see how Zim's rating will have an effect...

Rooting for Zim here. The Pakistan team have better pacers than ours, so it will probably be a series dominated by pacers.

Umar Akmal is hugely talented, but he is not one for playing long innings. he plays cameos like Aftab and Ashraful. this new guy, Azhar Ali seems good for long test innings.
