Need Zia, he is the man in form and confidence.

When you have finishers in sissy Riyad and i-have-no-idea-what-i-am-doing Nasir; Zia is a definite yes!

Need to pay attention to the match situation, too. Not just the stats. I have utmost trust in young Taskin. If fit, he might do better than Rubel, inshaallah.
Exactly my words.

You just cant judge a good fast bowler in these flat pitches. Australia gele tokhon 3-4jon spinner kono kaje ashbena. We need to develop good fast bowlers for playing outside Bangladesh. This kind of exposures and to make him stay with the team will grow his confidence by miles. Emniteo amader fast bowling department er obostha bhoyonkor. Except from him, I don't see a good potential emerging. So basically he is the last hope of making our pace attack a bit formidable (assuming the days of Mash coming to an end).

Zia was in contention too but Taskin is ahead as Mash is also not 100% fit.

Only Bangladesh picks unfit players

Even Taskin is not 100% fit as he is just recovering from the injuries (Though 30% fit Taskin is better than 100% fit Shafiul).

nah can't be 30% fit. i posted a video of his bowling 3 months after coming back from injury. Should be close to 100% if not yet.

Mash-Al Amin combo is currently the best right now. If Mash isnt dropped, I would replace Rubel with Zia and thats it for now. Taskin is a prospect... and facing the 4 best sides in a T20 World Cup at home as an international debut specially when there doubts over fitness..... how many things could possibily go wrong?

Roman bhai er avatar finally coming in..Good luck bhai

Well he can't do worse than Rubel. But I hope even if gets tonked that he doesn't lose confidence in himself. Malinga/Johnson too gets hammered in T20. Selectors should persist with him.

There is no way Mash will able to play all 4 games in space of 9 days or so. For Mash, it would be very hard to play 2 games with high intensity let alone 4. Reza is a gone case so that only leaves Al Amin the lone pacer, so its Understandable to include Taskin, who seems to be the only pacer outside nats can do well...

BCF is right on the money. Good captaincy could have won a lot more matches than we have lately.
Nicely put. Also Zia was selected as an alrounder yet did not given a single over only to find out in the next match Zia was an ideal option. The captain fantastic will probably take off Taskin right after he gets a wicket or not give him a single over saying Taskin is batting alrounder who can bowl a bit..

I though Mash is injured and he is out of the equation for T20 and that's why they are brining Taskin.

One possible scenario:

Momin In Replacing Riyad's role. Riyad taking Rex's role and Rex out.
Shamsu In Pheza out.

The who bowl all those overs?

Sakib = 4
Taskin (replacing injured Rubel) = 3+ overs
Al-amin = 3+ overs
Riyad = 4 overs
Shabbir & Nasir = 4+ overs
Momin = remaining few overs (if needed)

None of the part timers will be any worse than those two.

Is it confirmed Taskin is going to replace him?

Some,people have short memories. If Taskin does replace him.Not worry, cause Taskin has shown his T20 talent very early on and what he is capable of, also can handle it even after getting tonked around.
I am really excited to see this guy. See this video and enjoy (what this guy is capable of)

^See that over against Duronto Rajshahi, he got tonked by Coventry, it was an expensive over, but he came back so well taking 2wickets (Coventry and Katich). So often we, have seen Rubel Shafiul Razzak getting tonked very badly but never recover well.
What I'm, saying is for a very young fella he showed great determination to get back in the over and not letting his head go down (which many a times we have seen Rubel, Shafiul, Razzak do (after being tonked for few overs) and get worse after that in the match), and don't recover well when we most most needed them too.

This Lad, has the right bowling attitude, determination and fire power. InshAllah, he will be a great pace bowler, we are desperate of...

Read my mind...spot on. However, moron selectors will never access the situation. A sla spinner shlould be an urgent inclusion for BD TEAM.

Zia should be first in line to be included in the squad. We could do with another spinner too, maybe Taijul, since I'm convinced that Razzak is finished and I am not too confident over Gazi.I'm not sure Taskin is ready.

I don't have a problem with taskin playing t20s might get him noticed and some better coaching if a t20 league or county pick him up.
