I just hope we can show some fight in the ODIs and T20 (a win or two will be nice).
I think this series together with the August/sept ODIs in Australia will be a key test of the Ash/siddons combo...

Nijer desh'a kisu kortey parlam na ar oi desh'a giya "win or two"? nice. I say, "white wash" them.
I already know what Siddons and Ash is going to say. back to square one. "har-jit boro kotha noi, participation'i boro kotha.

hey they actually have a 3 dayer practice, its more than we usually get on a short tour. anyways, if sreesanth did well on SA pitches, i can't wait to see shahadat who ripped saffers on the "fast , green and bouncy" tracks of bangladesh.

I can still remember BD first tour (no international match were played just played against provincial team) one of the match BD was allout 52. Later that tour we were having chat with Golla bhai (once upon a time I had good relationship with him, he is a very decent person) and I said to Golla bhai thst ur that innings of 52 was amazing. And then we all lol, he said whenever BD batsmen went for a forward defensive shoot as soon the front foot was there n the ball was at rib cage area. There was grassy fast track.
It will be kind of same again. Total smashing performance by SA and some notable performance 1/2 innings by our batters or 1/2 spells by our bowlers.
So we should not raise our point of 'han tan' rather we should prepare for the bashing by SA fast bowlers. Remember the 66(or maybe 64) allout couple of tours back.
SA is a tough soil for any sub-continent team. When you would have 'talented' but yet to have the guts to perform sort of players ... just think about the reality..

WHAT HAPPENED TO PRACTICE MATCHES ? HOW D0 WE NEGOTIATE TORMENTOR STEYN ? IS SIDDONS GOING TO DO SOME HOME WORK ON GAME PLAN ?
I do not think Bangladesh will fare that bad in South Africa as they will have negotiated the full fury of Cricket Super heavyweights Australia in their own den.
The only problem is that all matches that Bangladesh plays Aussies will be at the same place - Darwin whose nature of pitch is unknown.
However no matter whatever exposure we have Down Under when the moment of truth comes i.e. facing Steyn it will be the same old story.
Unless he is unfit and unavailable for playing Bangladesh has no respite.
Steyn is not just destroyer of BD. He has single handedly destroyed almost all the top batsmen of the world .
Siddons needs to do a lot of homework to chalk out in advance a game plan to negotiate Steyn.
The other thing to note is that there is no practice matches -Yet another fallacy of BCB.
We need at least 3 practice matches - 2 for the One Dayers and one for 20- 20 match as a preparation for our batsmen to get some understanding and adaptation of the pitches.
Siddons should strongly recommend BCB to negotiate with their counterparts United Cricket Board of South Africa to arrange for the practice matches otherwise by the time they come to terms with South African pitch conditions the series will be over.
Every cloud has Silver linings. But We have been seeing too many clouds- Defeats only. No victories. Are we going to see any silver lining?
My earnest request to Siddons. Ask your boys to pull up the socks and go for the kill.
Our Tigress Sisters has proved that if you have the right attitude, commitment and good leadership you can do wonders. We do not want to hear positives and negatives from either the Captain or Coach. We want Results ! Victories !

11 days rest in the whole tour while playing 17 days. Very short tour and very compacted. BD will get whitewashed for sure but lets hope for some good individual performances and improvement by all the players.

They need the denting in my opinion.. No Pain, No Gain .. and we have to just see it as a 'schooling' affair..

another thing, i also demand that if by the end of this december, if bangladesh fails to win at least two ODI's by then Siddons and Ashraful should be hacked! there comes a time where we have to stop thinking and start acting. actions speak louder than words.

The name Ashrac OOl doesn't give me a good feeling. Give me an impression that it will be another 001 rather than a 100. I suggest a new name Ashra lOOk.
