Agree and mind boggling too, however it is not the defeats (which is expected considering our position reltive to the opponents). It is the quality of our cricket and the manner it is approached.
I think it does no harm to discuss the possibilities open to us to improve our game.
Test status cannot be taken granted and our development certainly will not be on autopilot. There were suggestions earlier on about having foreign players in our leagues even though certain people are hostile to suggestions of them becoming more involved in our cricket. Why not explore the missing ingredients. Issues to be addressed.

I think the chopping and dropping that has started again is affecting the play of the regular players. We were doing well for a brief period when the team showed some stability, and individual mistakes could be worked on.

The main reason behind all this is the pitch. Previously, our groundsmen were ignorant on how to make pitches on home grounds.

In this Chittagong test and the 1st ODI, it has now been proven that we can produce wickets where balls can be bounced - shoulder height.

Now it is upto the administrators to make such kind of wickets for domestic matches and continue making such pitches.

In the process, encourage pace bowlers who can bounce the balls above shoulder height.

above shoulder height is a no-ball! Perhaps you wanted to say above waist height...somewher at the rib-cage height...but you make a very valid point Fahmida...we should make sporting wickets for the domestic circuit...we will see the results eventually when we will get players entering the international circuit equipeed with the ability and the experience to play some bounce.
