He need to face 500+ balls to do that but he will run out of partners before that unfortunately

Yeah you are right.. Then I'm back to my previous opinion that no one from the current squad will score a double

Scoring double century is no joke. Just look at how long and hard Chanderpaul had to work to get that double against us. You have to be willing to bat all day, and most importantly never lose concentration. I don't think Tamim is capable of pulling that off now. He wants to score runs, but he wants it done quickly. He wants to just smash his way to the finish line. He ain't no Gayle or Shewag. If he wants a double hundred is going to have to realize he has to bat at least 3 full session before he can even think about getting to a double hundred. The way he plays, opposition will just seat back and just keep on tempting him. Because they know it's only a matter of time before he gets out.

He has the perfect temperament but hasn't the capacity to do it.

In test matches a limited player can be successful.

Hasn't Shahadat or Rubel made one in this match? Only if Mushy lets them bowl over 30 overs in a match, they will surely do it

Yup our bowlers score more centuries than our batsmen

In this pitch it is very easy to make a double century but I have no confidence on our batsmen. They have never created even a chance to make it.

I just knew Naeem was going to get out soon after scoring his century, as so many of our players do. He looked tired and doesn't have the fitness to go on and get a double. I really hope our batsmen start to work on their fitness more so that players don't give their wickets away. Other players from top 8 teams look super fit compared to ours. Amla and Clarke didn't look tired after scoring big tons recently.

Tamim. Definitely. But he doesn't have the patience and the fitness to last that long.

Next option, Shakib. If all the stars are aligned and he paces his innings properly, he may just get it.

I don't think any player of us can do it near future.

if shakib or tamim have 2 good days in a row then they'll do it, even naeem could but being that he scores slower than tamim and shakib the others will have to stick around long enough for him to make it and that's not so likely....
