Inclusion of Aftab and Nafees is good - they need the experience.
Rajin - OK, Rajin may find some opportunities to find his form back, if his good form isn't already back.
Ashraful - same as Rajin. but I think I read it somewhere that for Ashraful, it worked for him when he wasn't playing any game anywhere - just had a long break from any type of cricket to work on his technique personally.

Can someone tell me what happened to Hannan Sarkar....I thought he's got a very good batting technique...I saw him in the australia tour and he was fantastic..even one of the Australian papers said that he is one of the two bangladeshi players who can fit in Australian domestic cricket (the other one was Mashrafi)....
I'm so surprised to hear that he's not even being picked by his club team...Sad..wat happened to him

a couple of consecutive ducks and low scores in both international and domestic cricket has ensured that he never comes back.

Maybe Durjoy thinks that a place in the national team is his inherited property.

Okay,, there is essentially 3 teams. 1. BCB A,, which is playing @ UAE and Zim . 2. BCBXI playing at Duleep Trophy and 3. BCBXI playing at the national league. Some players will be rotated. But Hannan, Bashar, etc. are playing fpr the national league.
The reason Durjoy is there is because of his off-spin. Do you know of any other quality/non-quality offspinners? We all know by this time why Utseya was so successful in the series. We need to have an off-spinner and hence Durjoy comes in. Political afflilication or nepotism becomes an issue when you are including a member who doesnt have any credential to be included. And we said that about Rajin, Mushfiq babu, Alok etc. Other than Mushfiq, we failed to cement that idea of nepotism of the selectors. Dont forget with Durjoys leadership we scoed 400 runs and he took 6 wicketsand that was only his first test. He does not want to be included because he personally beleives that his prime is over. Its the BCB official that keeps dragging him to this controversy. And I think like pace hunting,, we ought to think of 'right arm' off-spin hunting too... otherwise we face a grave future ahead of us in Intl cricket without that weapon

Why are we so upset that Durjor will not take the opportunity? I thought most of the folks here don't like him. Obviously he is not happy with someone in BCB. We don't know what really happened behind the curtain to make him angry like that.
Now think about the positive side:
#1) Some else (I hope someone much younger that Durjoy) will be getting the opportunity.
#2) He is one of the older players and I doubt that he has much to give to the team (if you consider long term benefit). So why waste a spot?
#3) If Durjor goes to Duleep and does well, it will create more problem to the team. He will take either Rana's spot, or Enamul's spot or at-least Alok's spot. Same people who are complaining about Durjoy's stand (not going to Duleep) will start crying foul about not giving younger players a chance.
#4) The current group of people are very united and team oriented (ok most of them). Who knows how Durjoy will fit with them under the leadership of Bashar?
Again I am not a fan of Durjoy nor am I a Durjoy Basher. I don't know much about him except that he did much better in Premium League. Personally I wouldn’t mind Durjoy in the team temporarily. Also I am not going to complain if he is not in the team. To me Durjoy is a non issue.
However, I see same group of people (may be not all of them) are complaining, are the one that do not like him (for one reason or another). My question is shouldn't they be happy?
