I just can't accept it. It hurts too much. Someone please slap me, beat me up BUT please give me those 3 runs. I am proud of the boys but I can't hold back my tears.

BD team has won this cricket fan's respect. And it broke my heart to see them crying at the end. Well played and congratulations Bangladesh.

Yes indeed. Great tournament.. great final.

wish people didn't open those blaming threads. Whats done is done and its only a game, although I fear for Shahdat's life - he needs to seek protection for tonight. People in BD takes cricket far too seriously!!

Yep, this tournament has clearly sealed some mouths indeed, irrespective of the result of this match - and even in this match you guys came this close.

Overall consistency wise deserved the cup, but bad luck. You can sure be proud of the team - and with the crappy players out and injured players back, the team would just improve from here.

not happy, we are a proffesional cricket team for God's sake.

Mushfiq crying was absolutely pathetic to me, he shud take some blame for overbowling shahadat and unable to get his team over the line, or give advice to nasir who took us out of the game

Definitely. Now the coaches need to keep working with the team to continue the improvement.

Plus, keep Shahadat far far away from the ODI team.

The tears are still rolling down the cheeks of the Bangladeshi players, and the fans. Jamshaid says this: "It really makes me sad to watch mushfiq cry but he has no reason to cry, he should look at the bigger picture bangladesh have finally evolved into an amazing and formidable team that are capable of defeating bigger teams." The other key moments were the loss of Tamim and Jahrul in quick succession, and it took a while for Nasir to get going. The spinners did superbly at those stages. It's taking a while for everyone to get themselves under some control, we'll get you the presentation details in just a bit.

It was a heartbreak, but a new kind.
It was a heartbreak because we know we are good enough, but it was just those little things that went against us. You have always made us proud, you have always let me dream, you have always given me a respite from the frustrating daily life, thank you for everything so far. Love Bangladesh cricket team, and love this heartbreak.

If we continue to play as a unit, we'll win some we'll lose some, but we won't be a minnow anymore.

This asia cup has been tremendous. In every match, I had reasons to be proud of the boys. They are playing good, proper cricket.

So, thanks, boys.

Heart broken, because we've never come so close to winning a title. But then again, happy to see that we squeezed every drop of blood from the opponents. If we can play this positively in future, we're in for a big change.

I was doing okay until i saw mushfiq cry. Really proud of the way the tigers played. I would haved loved these guys even if they lost all the matches but put on a brave show. They have exceeded my expectation in every level. I guess my tears are for the players and seeing how much it meant to them. Better luck next time guys, we will be with you as always.
