I\'m in Dhaka
Hello EveryBody,
I'm here in Dhaka with my family. Nazim Bhai is here in Dhaka as well. He will be flying back to LA thursday. I saw natl. league bet Dhaka & Barisal. Most of the time i'm 4# Dhanmondi CCS ground. I had a chat ex-selector as well as current selector, Ather Ali, Prince & Farouque.

If you meet them again, or have their contact info, can you please talk them in to a chat session for Tigers Fans?
If anyone of them is interested, pick and set the time, and let us know, we will announce it on the main page. Then at the scheduled time, we will all go to our chat room, and he can come to the chat room, so we, fans can ask all we want to him.
If possible, try making it in a weekend (Saturday/Sunday). And preferebly, daytime in BD.
Thanks tpusltn bhai.

I'm gonna be in Dhaka on Monday. If you are going to be around in the first part of January Tipu bhai, perhaps we can go watch some of the action between Dhaka and Khulna starting on the 4th I think. Pity Nazim bhai is leaving so early.

If you do get to talk to Athar Ali, just give him a reminder about the site. See if he remembers logging into the chat some time back. Pity, we did not have as many members as we have now.

Thanks Guys,
I will try my best to arrange one. I told Ather Ali & Prince about the our website. I think one or both of 'em are out of the country. May be in Pakistan
I had a informal chat with Mr. Aliul the ex-selector. May be he will be interested for a chat.
4# Dhanmondi ground CCS is mostly run by ex-natl batsman Rafiqul Alam.
Most of 'em did heard about the website but I had the feeling, none were much into the web surfing or using the e-mail.
I myself having trouble accessing freely in to the web. Besides, I'm busy with weeding party. I will be some what free after the 26th.
If you contact me, Yes we can watch some game & I will introduce some BCB people to you, if you like.
I think we need to promote Banglacricket. Lots of potentials here.

Yes, older generation (people above 30 years old) are not used to surf or using emails much, until it is absolutely necessary, for example - if they have relatives or friends living abroad. I guess its because when they were young, computer and Internet was not a way of life for them.

But, now a days, the school and college students, and the university students are used to it.

I am over 30 too.
It feels weird to be called older generation.
Soon, I will be a senior citizen (sigh).
Tipu bhai, if you can get any former cricketer to write a column (regularly or one time), please do so. We badly need some columns. It can be on anything related to BD cricket.

My brother is above 30 too, and he's hooked up to computers and Internet like I am (got my habit from his influence).
But that's not the point that I meant. I meant that people who are old enough - or at a certain position to do something major - like work in a position at the BCB or at some club - they're still not at that position.
And besides, Bangladeshis above 30, who left for abroad and came from educated backgrounds, are more influenced by Western lifestyle to use modern technologies, rather than Bangladeshis above 30, but staying behind at home.

Please take your camera and a banglacricket banner with you. A digital camera would be great. Love to have pictures from our own members. Email pictures to tehsin, rajputro or myself (@banglacricket.com)
If the individual picture sizes are too big (> 1mb) and you have many pictures, just let me know. I'll make special arrangements for you to upload all of them. Enjoy and stay safe.
