I say give Orange and Black (the Bengal Tiger) or something like that a shot to give us something unique.
You do bring in a good Idea of not concentrating much on the flag but then again we are used to see them into green outfit ... maybe they should bring in a bit darkish green and not so bright green ... and for ur idea of orange/black ... no offence to your idea or to anyone but most of the bengali players are not that pale or shamla , most of them are preety dark or close to dark .. i doubt it will look good

The best one I saw was i think it was wc 1999 where they actualy put tigerstripes on their uniforme ... green with orange and black stripes ... that was good ... anyways...

Now that we have settled the issue on jerseys, can we open another thread for their makeup? Can we? Can we?

Good point! I agree, something new and unique will definately motivate them.

Most of the teams would play T20 with contrast colored jersey. You can look at AUS, IND. I was expecting something like that for T20 WC. BD will come out of the present Green, Red and yellow with some new style striping.... sighs...

I think the best BD jersey was the one they played in in new zealand. [the one ash's wearing] And this one looks a lot like that one, i really like the jersey, you can find as many faults as u want, but i believe it has become BD's tradition to have the green shirt.
ps. the yellow in the jersey comes from the early Bangladesh flag.

WTF is this, this is not even someone in Bangladesh. The writing in the background looks like Sinhalese or Tamil. Is that even a Loongi? The picture's probably someone in Sri Lanka or South India.

All the green jerseys look tired. We should experiment with a bold varation.

Meh.

BD hasn't had a decent looking jersey since this-

The newer jerseys look too stale and cheap.

the best looking BD jerseys of all time:

1) current one (the one from our most recent ODIs)
2) tie between, the Natwest 2005 and world cup 2007 kits
3) all the rest, including the 15 variations we had in 2007-2008

and i vote for always retaining the flag colors, green and red, as long as the scheme looks good, which the current one does. the new T20 jersey is OK, not bad.

but my personal suggestion would be to put the word "BANGLADESH" on the front of the ODI kit, and not just for major tournaments. and it shouldn't be on the back of the kit either.
