Kenya is on the verge of a big win, something like by 200 runs

Its amazing that they posted 328/5 where Tikolo scored only 1 run. Shows tremendous improvement in six months time.

Maybe, bowling strength of the opponent is the reason.

What a thrashing ! Good to see Kenya got their acts together.

I always felt Ouma and David Obuya is the right openning combination for Kenya. Now that Ravindu Shah is back, their top order should be lot more stable. I just hope they won't take back unperforming veterans like Modi and Otieno.

RR Watson, after recovering the blow which he received in the recent BD v Scotland series from Mashrafee, made a century against Canada to take his team on the verge of a very exciting victory. They are chasing 292 for a victory.

Really strange.
In Canada's innings looks like the first wicket fell on the first over (may be second). That means A Bagai (1st down came to bat early) and was not out which is almost equal of carrying the bat all 50 overs. The strangest thing is he only faced 66 balls in those 50 overs (out of the 300 balls).

This should be a record of staying at the crease highest number of overs and facing the least number of balls in ODIs. This means he can rotate the strike really good.

Emmm...technically, wouldn't less balls in the whole 50 overs mean less rotation of strike? Coz I think 66 balls in 50 overs is simply too little...

The guy was retired hurt after making half century, then came back just before the end of Canadian innings.

It was great to see Kenyastart with such a big win.
Ravi back at the top of the order does indeed make a huge difference.

One correction to the team lists: David Obuya is actually 2nd choice 'keeper with Ouma being preferred behind the stumps.

Kenya should win this series on home turf and go on to do the same in the WCL.
Fingers crossed they do not get over confident. Each match needs to be taken as seriously as the first.

The third match of the ICC Tri Series between Kenya and Canada at Mombasa today has been called off due to a stomach bug affecting a number of the Canadian team.
Canada forfeited the match, handing a win and four points to Kenya who extend their lead at the top of the table.
Kenya face Scotland in the fourth match tomorrow.

The ICC is looking into circumstances which led to today's ODI between Kenya and Canada at Mombasa being called off. It is the first time a major game has been forfeited because one side cannot raise an XI.
The match was cancelled last night after Canadian officials requested a meeting with Javagal Srinath, the ICC tournament referee, where they informed him that their squad had been hit by an illness which meant they were unable to field a full side. At least five players were said to be laid low by what a local doctor diagnosed as a viral stomach condition and, although Srinath is believed to have suggested that the Canadians wait until the morning before making a decision, this idea was rejected. Kenyan and Scottish team representatives also attended the meeting.
