BD team seems all set to become one of the biggest underachievers. I must mention underachievers because their performance belies their actual talent and capability.

Bashar is talented. Ashraful is way more talented than many a standdout as well as non-descript batsman in top teams. Kahled Mashud is in contention for one of the best keeper and is second to maybe only Gilchrist (or possibly Sangakarra) with bat. Rafique is one of the best left arm spinners in our times. Enamul is not far behind. Then there are match-winners like Aftab. Then there is Mashrafe who is in the mould of a fine all-rounder.

So many players. So much of talent.

And such a waste. Unbelievable!

Pilot is not in Sangakarra's planet when comparing batting talent.

Your evaluation and expectation is too high. Nor Rafique and Enam are best left arm spinners of our time; K mashud may come 3 rd out of the 4 test teams in Asia. Dhoni is in blasting mode. Please don't even compare with Sangakarra. it would be a low body blow to him.
Aftab who? what match winner (are we talking about test or 20/20)? Which test match did he win for us? I must have missed it.

The coaches job is to keep an upbeat. Thats why time to time he would say good things about his own players. Don't take it word for word.
