If truth be told, BC has shown the positives and the best of our cultural sides. Sometimes the condolence threads and threads that need urgent help provided with sincere responses shows the deep humanity embedded in us.

Not only I have developed razor sharp wit that may compete with Naveed Mahmud's comedy club *****shudder**** but I have grown a lot as a person here.

We get impacted by everything that we come across in life. Online interaction is no different. It's unwise to say net cannot change your perspectives in life. We are always touched by those who make the world little better today than it was yesterday.

From simple love for the sport, staying up and cheering on to arguments and debates in Forget Cricket, it's all happening here.

I appreciate Zee for opening this thread. We learn and change. That's life.

When I go to school or a conference or even a desi gathering.... I shame my head and facepalm seeing people chattering away and asking trivial questions endlessly. I would have done so, had it not been sheer influence by mods/admins (such as Nasif, RS, Ahmed Bhai, not Zunaid...he posts a lot nowdays lol) and others and SPEAK ONLY WHEN NECESSARY.

In some forums they emphasize to read more, and post less. BC is lax but still these ideals and the fact we show care for others with whom we are bonded through sports irresptive of religion or creed or race speaks volume.
