So Mushy makes come contribution. Got two run outs - one of which was of Afridi's.

Lets hope he makes an impact with the bat.

Mushy's Nagenahira Nagas beat Afridi's Ruhuna Royals by 5 runs (on D/L method) in the curtain raiser of SLPL.
Good start, good luck for the rest of the league.

Whenever Mushi sees a paki player, he only thinks about that movie and "special scenes"

mushy should be batting higher up the order! with all of his international experience and his ability definitely should be used as an integral part of the batting order.

^^^

But he doesnt have any notable batting performances of late. So playing him high up the order is not the wisest decision

Top 3 maybe not but batting at 4 would be a good spot for him

Its not a good idea to play up the order. He plays better under pressure a lot of times. The team has some good batsmen so no way he should bat higher than 4

ok so they have mathews, shehzad, birt, nazir, nasir. some of them are decent (could even include marsh) but they don't all play every game and really are they that much better than mushy? especially in t20s i'd say they aren't much better, if any better and mushy has a lot more international experience than those guys to. true though that he can do well under pressure.

Name one blistering innings from Mushfiq? Mathews has played a lot of brilliant innings, lot more than what Mushy has played. Nazir and shehzad both have had a lot of success in the T20 level. While you are talking about intl experience, you probably didnt point out that some of them have played a lot more T20 matches than little mushy

Mushy is keeper and can bat well, so he will play all matches i assume. I think they should play mushy, imran nazir, shehzad, elias sunny. Their bowling is weak. Sunny can support mendis.

wasn't Sunny cut down from the final squad? I saw Cricinfo was also showing Sunny instead of Nasir in the squad

The rule is that each team are given 8 foreign players, among which they can only have 6 at a time in their squad during the tournament. The rest 2 are the reserves.

but the SLPL looks dull, poor crowd, no passion among the players, no money. Big names missing.
